What a great tribute to Lady Liberty and PA! And a 'Congrats To CBS' for this short but sweet video! It's so nice to know the story! I too, remember seeing this statue for the first time and falling in love with it and what it stands for, as well as wondering who did it! And a "BIG THANK YOU" to the original creator of the first statue, as well as, our fellow Pennsylvanians for the new improved replica! :)

My best friends dad from Camp Hill. Helped put that up. My friend would tell me how they used kayaks and carried it out in peices in the middle of the night. Cool story.

It's cool that they gathered money to replace it with a more permanent one.

There was in fact a WTC replica of the Twin Towers on a pillar to the left of Lady Liberty in Dauphin but it seems to be gone. I was there tonight walking in the river right near Stoney Creek and did not see WTC replica anymore.

Saw it for the first time last night. Was on the Highway and realized what I was looking at. Saw it again on my way back to see, such a cool sight

Dauphin Borough is not a town. It's a borough.

I've past it on the road a few times and plan to do a kayaking trip later this year starting at the statue, going down through Harrisburg! If all goes well, we plan to finish at Three Mile Island, making several stops along the way and avoiding the dams and stuff.

Agreed! I just passed it the other day, on my way into Steelton, and saw it for the first time. I thought it looked to be 8-10 feet tall 🤣🤣🤣
