Excellent presentation and summary! You present some interesting ideas without reaching to far I feel. Something I've been curious about are the slimes at the mansion. Because of the Summer outfit vid, we know they exist in the setting. He's mentioned before that he simply "Found them in thee woods around the mansion." And that, for reasons he doesn't seem to know, they fashioned those wooden doll bodies to mimic The Doll. Almost makes it sound like something he witnessed, something that happened recently. They clearly care for him, but why? Do they care for Joel, or Damiya? Yes they represent the chat, but is there more in terms of story? Another thing I don't think we've gotten a clear yes/no on is if he exists in the same setting as the world being built for the Monster girl facts. He's mentioned that's a modern setting as well.

I think the doll's spirit simply was looking for the child, or possibly, its "soul", in a reincarnated form. Joel, the child, and the missing person all share quite similar haircuts, and, while the Nun form is an alternative universe, Joel in that video have brown/yellow eyes, just like the child (though brown eyes are common), but that does mean that... from the scenes we've seen of Joel, if counting the "nun" video of Joel as canon, he shares the same haircolour, an unkept version of the same hairstyle, and the same eyecolour as the child.

a thing i'd like to add is i remember joel mentioning golems can sometimes just appear from an artist putting enough love into a creation. it could be possible the doll maker was an artist trying to grieve by crafting sculptures in the image of the departed. when one day one of these dolls began to move and act on it's own, and the dollmaker not fully understanding what was happening saw it as a second chance of sorts. not seeing the doll as it's own being may have pushed damiya to take on a more monstrous form in self defense.

I do have a very prominent question ever since I’ve seen the lore video. That question is where the mansion is located. In the video, although I’m not sure if it was acting or not but, Joel seems the be able to get ‘tired’ or rather some sort of pain after a stream. This leads me to ask for the location of the mansion. Is this mansion close to the big city? Is so how come no one has decided to trespass into the mansion. And if it were very secluded considering how we have satellite view on maps how is it no one has questioned the existence of this mansion?

Its def close enough that Joel somehow got BACK to his old apartment and carried his pc the whole way back. So its in walking distance of some kind I imagine.

Awesome video Anna! It really is fun getting to see the break down of the lore videos little tidbits. I think your theory has a lot of merit. I always thought the first missing person looked similar to the kid in the painting, but the time difference between modern and victorian means it couldn't be the same person. Definitely looking forward to future lore videos and subsequent theory ones.

I do think that Spiral Eyes is the soul of the doll because if you look at the dolls eyes they are eerily close to spiral eyes.

I have a few questions that you dont have to answer just on my mind. 1 maybe the mansion is protected by magic so thats why no one else but who Jowol has invited cant find the mansion. 2 what happened to his body cause he went back to his apartment so how did he not know what happened to his body. Ill probably edit as i think of some questions sorry 3 how does the mansion have power and internet, like Joel just brings back his pc and boop plugs it in. 4 how did Joel know how to get back to his apartment so easy? 5 how is Joel getting food like he talks a lot about chicken nuggies for chat. 6 kinda thinking on how he interacts with other streamers mainly when they come in and really start/end stream how do ubers find it, like he has said ill order you an uber or how was the uber ride. Like huh youre deep in the forest supposedly. Man, people's lore is so cool.

I think it is more about protect8ng the child than unfinished business. I think domnya was looking for the child that she protected long ago and found joel thinking he was the child and unable to protect him in that shadow form she took his soul and put it in the doll cause she knew it 2as the safest place and now she watches over him in the shadows

After watching this I share your theory that the ghost is the doll, and raise you the theory, based on your Joel could look like the doll maker, what if Joel is distantly related to either the doll maker or the lady the doll is based on? 🤔 or, kinda like a Kagome/Kikyo kinda thing, what if he's the reincarnation of one of them? same soul no memories of previous lives 👀
