@@ihvha29 r u serious? Keith was not even the best guitarist in his own band, it was Mick Taylor then Ronnie Wood. The Rolling Stones have never been a riff band like Zeppelin or Sabbath. How many riffs by Keith can you name other than Satisfaction or Jumping Jack Flash? Because Page has Whole Lotta Love, Kashmir, Black Dog, Rock and Roll, Immigrant Song, Dazed and Confused, When The Levee Breaks, Communication Breakdown, Heartbreaker, Good Times Bad Times, No Quarter, Houses Of The Holy, Dyer Maker, Trampled Underfoot, The Ocean, Nobody's Fault But Mine, In The Evening, etc etc. Literally almost every Zeppelin song has a great riff and solo from Jimmy. David Rodgers well he used this one for the solo in Stairway to Heaven and used Fenders (a B-Bender Tele, a Strat, and a Fender XII) on Zep IV, Houses, Physical Graffiti, Presence, and ITTOD before continuing with some during the Firm and beyond. Not to mention the Rickenbacher and Danelectro and other electrics by lesser known brands like Vox and Futurama. He did not often use Fenders live after ‘68-69, though Knebworth ‘79 is a good example of him bringing them out.

@@WolverineSticker LPs could cut through the huge crowds in the arenas they were playing. Tele was just too thin and the pickups hummed when cranked through marshalls. Pretty much everyone used LPs and marshalls on stage for these arena concerts. I saw leslie west in 72 and he played a flying V through A stack of six 100 watt marshall heads. My ears rang for three days after.

Syd had a 61' tele and about 66 made his mirrored disc guitar during the rocking Swinging London where the early Floyds were kicking thr jams out and the hole city was looking for it, including this fake person known as Jimmy Page, an incredible guitar player but a thief of the real deals of inventive London. The Page's mirrored copy is from 67. Shitty liar.

I love Jimmy Page; but I feel he should at least acknowledge that the idea for the mirrors on the guitar (reflecting and whatnot) was not completely his own as Syd Barrett of Pink Floyd's first incarnation was rather famously known to play a Fender Esquire with mirrors of the same kind to yield the same dazzling effect, I have no doubt that Page saw Syd's guitar, liked the idea and borrowed it for himself.

Awesome video ! I love it ! ... But, let's be honest or at least, realistic, Pagey is associated with the Lespaul or the doubleneck SG...

Fender is really pushing this Tele...I love Zep. I was in high school in the '70's...and I never saw Page with a Fender..it was always a Les Paul..
