TheSimon253 You can’t really write how you pronounce it but in Icelandic it’s written Freyja which is the correct one since almost everything that has to do with this stuff (I think it’s called Norse Mythology in english) is taken from a book called Snorra-Edda which is a book written by an Icelandic author named Snorri Sturluson somewhere around 1300. So I think that the Icelandic pronounciations are the correct ones but I could be wrong

Loki is a trooper, he took what no man, mortal or otherwise, should ever have to take. And produced an offspring from it.

Neat myth (especially funny what Loki did) But I do feel bad for the giant. He did everything fair and square, even agreeing for the deal that was meant to guarantee his loss. And yet when he pointed out God's cheating, they killed him with cold blood.

As a native icelandic speaker I would love to help with pronoucing the Nordic gods name in ancient nordic. Some of the pronunciations were pretty good, such as Óðinn but some were very bad, such as Freyja

Odin wanted to get more wisdom to become more powerful (Odin was not long King of Gods and so Not confident of His Powers) so he visited Mimir, a giant, who has been known for great knowledge and wisdom. Odin pretended to be a normal human being. When Mimir and Odin met Mimir told Odin that He gains his wisdom by drinking water Out of his pond. Odin asked for Mimirs permission to Drink of it too but He didnt allow it, except He is willing to sacrifice one eye for it.Odin did so without thinking of a Seconds. In the moment he Cut off His eye, Mimir knew that the man in front of him was a God. Mimir and Odin became Close friends, giving each Other advice when they needed it. @@kurax9115 I remember Mimir was also a god. after Mimir was killed as he was not a satisfying hostage in the war of the gods, Odin returned life to his severed head and let him forever guard his wisdom fountain - some source say Odin preserve the head for all the wisdom stored within
