What's the point of having a shaman and not listening to them? That's like having an accountant and never taking their advice
@denzeltimehigh74074 жыл бұрын
It is greed and selfishness. Whenever you see something to good to be true, even when someone said it might be dangerous, you still tempt to get it. Example that one day you came across such mountains of money and gold. Even when someone said it might be a trap, someone who is foolish enough still want to get all the money and gold to be one of the richest man in the world. And then as you know, it happens. You never guarantee which one is good or bad, and it is universal that everything is neither purely good or bad. Whatever it was, it is up to your choice and decision.

I think it was because there were several bad goblins who, as Tyler Peterson said, had been attacking people and the Chief wanted to get rid of them, as inferred in the end when the goblin's tree is burnt and only those air goblins who were honest and non-carnivores were able to escape.

If you read (listen) between the lines , you can get some incites into the tribe's life. In the beginning it seems that the hunter gather society was straining fishing spots with their heavy use of Barbasco. They kept migrating as the fish populations declined constantly moving to better spots until they were in the territory of another tribe. It would appear that the whole tribe poisoned its self by Barbascoing the smaller and slow moving body of water and they fell into a slumber becoming vulnerable to both the other tribe and predators. The shaman ends up using the fauna knowledge learned from the other tribe to destroy them. He used pepper smoke and fire to force them to leave or burn them to death.
