Because we have the greatest founding documents in human history, second only to the establishment of Nationsl Israel, we are held to such a higher standard than native Africans or other nations and empires who practiced slavery for centuries before America. In that sense, we bear greater guilt than others. Slavery in America was most certainly not more inhumane and cruel than that which was practiced by Rome China Islam and native African tribes and empires. This is where the sham of the 1619 project lies along with the leftist liars, which produce this distortion deliberately for personal and political gain.
