The N's Countdown To Degrassi (The Next Generation Season 3)

Throwback clips from a multi-week event The-N did in the summer of 2004 to promote upcoming episodes from TNG Season 3.
The block of episodes they were promoting contained "Accidents Will Happen." Even though The-N refused to air the episode at the time because of Manny's abortion, they actually used the Countdown To Degrassi to air the subplots from the episode as "Mini episodes."

Watching this makes me miss The-N and also this era of Degrassi! I love it and you can connect a lot more with the characters and cast. I think Degrassi needs to watch the old episodes and figure out how to incorporate some old ways with new ways. I could watch season 1 through 5 like it is the first time.

I remember the every episode ever marathons... It's hard to imagine it only took 4 days. I did a rewatch last year and it took 3 months lol

Yes!! Having the dvds or watching them are online is cool, but for some reason it was always amazing when they'd run marathons on TV.

okay so I made the mistake of posting these on the degrassi wiki and it caused a lot of drama few months back lmmffao. Well I made up these characters because I really like Degrassi and I wish I could work with them. Let me know what you all think. ===JUNIORS ([[ Class Of 2019]]) === *[[Ashley Summers]] as [[Tiffany Benson]] A popular girl who will do anything to stay on top. She is the queen of mean and is quickly trying her best to become the new Queen Bee at Degrassi. Tiffany quickly becomes enemies of Frankie and Lola. *[[Jessica Langston]] as [[ Sasha Curry]] She is Tiffany's best friend and often follows her around. Sasha is a follower and try's her best to please Tiffany. She is also Co Captain of the new Majorette team at Degrassi. Tiffany is shays cousin and the two often butt heads. *[[Noel Chambers]] as [[ Destiny Huffman]] If their was a perfect teenager it would be Destiny. She is Popular, Smart, and Athletic. She is the captain of the New Majorette Team at Degrassi. Destiny is kind hearted although she hangs with Tiffany and Sasha. Sasha secretly admires Destiny as she is way more popular than she is. Tiffany sees her as a rival where as Destiny does not see her as a threat at all. Destiny takes a liking to a certain freshman to show her the ropes. *[[Miguel Russo]] as [[Dario Medrando]] A popular rich Italian Heart throb! Dario is every girls dream at Degrassi. He is captain of the basketball team and being Tiffany's ex boyfriend he is very popular. Although shallow and conceited. Dario has a heart! As he has secret eyes for a certain sophomore who is not in the same social group as he is. *[[Trevor Johnson]] as [[Mack Bradley]] aka Mac Daddy He is Dario's charming best friend. Mac is a part of the popular crowed at Degrassi. He is on the Degrassi basketball team but wants to be an veterinarian. He doesn't know how to tell his over bearing dad that instead of going to the Pro's he has a love for animals. *[[Laurne Fischer]] as [[Faith Mittleburn]] Faith is Destinys best friend. They became friends in kindergarten after hearing each other's names. Faith is a feminist and stands up for what is right at Degrassi. She hangs with the rest of the popular crowed but does not share their same opinions. Faith wants to go into politics but has to take care of her sick mother. ===Sophomores=== ([[Class of 2020]]) *[[Abagail Tucker]] as [[Trisha Lang]] A new student at Degrassi who is the little sister of Tiffany. She eagerly wants to follow in her sister footsteps and gain her approval. Trisha is apart of the art program. She often fights with Maria over the affections of Josh! *[[Kristen Roberts]] as [[Maria Stevens]] Maria is a Hispanic fashionista. She wants to become a famous designer one day. Maria is frenemies with Trisha. They fight over the same badboy Josh. Maria is having struggles with her family being deported. *[[Blake evans]] as [[Josh Arson]] Josh is a new kid in town who has the freshman and sophomore and even upper class girls going crazy. Josh is very good looking but quite and goes through a lot at home. Josh lives with his older brother and his wife who has an inappropriate attraction to Josh. he sees Maria and Trisha fighting over him but doesn't have affection for either one of them. He might have his sights set on another! *[[Keisha Powell]] as [[Lyric Patterson]] A quite smart girl who is shy because of her weight! Lyric is nice to everyone but her kindness is always taken for weakness. As she does homework for the upperclass. Lyric is mostly bullied by Trisha and her sister Tiffany. Lyric has a crush on josh but doesn't think he notices her...or does he? And is he not the only boy who is crushing on this full figured gal! *[[ Gary Evans]] as [[Ruby Lovelace]] Ruby is an transsexual male to female new student who is ready to take Degrassi by storm. Ruby is full of attitude and is no one to mess with. Ruby is also a part of the art program. Ruby has to deal with the constant ridicule and hatred coming from the students as well as new staff. ===FRESHMAN=== *[[Derrick Lang]] as [[Rj Henderson]] A School smart but wise cracking kid who is the Degrassi salesman. You need anything he and his best friend Clark got it. They usually are scamming someone and it often leads them into trouble. He has a crush on Maria! *[[Aaron Paul]] as [[Clark Jernt]] Rj's best friend and his sales partner. Clark is a smart kid who is always in trouble being caught up in RJ's schemes. Clark is heavy into video games and wants to become friends with Hunter. Clark has Diabetes and has to keep it under control. *[[Chelsea Donovan]] as [[Hailey Wheaton]] Hailey is a nice young girl who desperately is searching for friends. Hailey is a social outcast because her father was allegedly arrested for rape and nobody wants anything to do with her. Hailey seeks advice and guidance from Destiney who look out for her.

Georgia Loughran The-N is the channel that Degrassi: TNG was aired on. And they wouldn’t show Manny’s abortion due to controversy surrounding the issue of abortion
