This is a red letter day for me...first time in my young life I'd laid eyes on a steam locomotive. I've literally been waiting for 34 years for additional video of this day and I can't thank you enough for sharing this!

The museum didn't bother restoring 1218 for the second NS steam program Sept. 2011-May 2017. Just 611 in 2015. NS sucks now, they no longer allow excursions on their tracks again and Amtrak banned special excursions in March 2018.
