About Drebin's Flower scene. After a 1965 live performance where Paul McCartney sang a solo of The Beatles' song, "Yesterday", Ringo Starr came on stage to present a large bouquet of Flowers to McCartney (presumably from a fan). After McCartney grabbed the flowers from him, Ringo immediately walked backwards still holding onto the flowers, leaving McCartney holding onto nothing but pre-cut stems.

@@r.t.643 Well, we were getting closer to the year Y2K and after that the young people, for the most part, had no sense of humor and started getting offended by everything. These kinds of movies got dumber with grosser humor and very low budgets and since the young demographic didn't like comedy anymore they eventually stopped making them from fear of offending one person in Mississippi (AKA...The few). Like medications that help billions, but a few have a sever reaction to it, they take it away. Not everything works for everyone, but you don't remove it for those it does work for.

5:35 The actress you saw there is Hungarian actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, who at the time of the film coming out had recently fallen afoul of the law due to her slapping a police officer and being caught driving with a driver's licence that was no longer valid. That gag is a reference to that slapping incident. Her younger sister Eva Gabor was also an actress (although Zsa Zsa outlived her by more than just a few years). A lot of people will probably know *her* best for doing voices for Disney animated films such as _The Aristocats, The Rescuers_ and its sequel _The Rescuers Down Under_ (in the latter two she voiced one of the main protagonists, Bianca).

Once, we had an alligator crawl into a water pump inlet and die; we didn’t discover it for a month when the regular inspection came due. While the divers were clearing out the rotted carcass, I asked if this was the roost job they’d ever done. The answer I got was that this wasn’t even top 10. They had to dive the county’s raw sewage collection tank monthly-that was much worse. No wonder divers get paid so well, yet it’s extremely difficult to find people to work those jobs.
