You know, the Hewbrews wrote YHWH as if we where to write something like LOL, we all know what LOL means right, so the hebrews knew exactly what YHWH meant when they read it , God WANTS us to know his name and to freely use it, where does it say in the bible “do not ever say my name, keep it a secret from all” no, he actually says “Jehovah (YHWH) the God of your forefathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered from generation to generation”. I really don’t know why many people choose to hide it, it’s like meeting a friend, what’s the first thing you ask? “Hello, what’s your name”, so why not do the same thing with god? It would be confusing to just say LORD all the time becuase it’s just a title, on another note, there are so many false gods in the world that we NEED to identify that Jehovah is the only god. For such, Moses when he approached Pharaoh, if he said “The LORD god has sent me” this would have stunned Pharaoh thinking “which lord? Which god? We have so many” but, when Moses said “Jehovah has sent me” as stated in the bible Pharaoh reply’s “I do not know of this god”. Thinking locally about these things never hurts. If people want to connect with God, maybe get to know him on a personal lever might help, even knowing and freely saying his personal name.

NOW i am confused some spell the Name YHVH and here it gets spelled YHWH . which is the correct one? the Hebrew spelling is the same dough? except in the typing on the screen which is wrong the yot should be on the end as Hebrew is read from right to left, but I suspect that is to make it read from right to left instead. According to Hebrew scholars, the sixth letter in Hebrew language can be transliterated as "w" from the original Hebrew to English. In modern Hebrew it is transliterated as "v". The Hebrew pronunciation of the letters has changed over time. In my opinion, if it matters, it's more correct to use "w" in the Name since that's how it was pronounced in the beginning.

The word lord is used in many faiths. It's like the word god. All lords are not the same and all gods are not the same. Lord and god are titles like dad. Just like there are many dads in the world there are many lords. When some Christians refer to "LORD" they usually mean Yahweh and when they use "Lord" they usually refer to Yahshua (Jesus Christ). I think you are referring to one of the lords in Hindu i.e. Vishnu. He's not the same as Yahweh (or Yahuwah).

Some European languages use the letter "J" with the pronunciation of the English "Y" e.g. German and Dutch. That's why some English speaking people tend to mispronounce German and Dutch names which use the letter J. For example the Dutch name "Joost".
