but they in the same homeroom under Jacques (who created the paldea dex) ? so maybe nemona held back a year because she was becoming a champion-rank trainer under the top champ/primera ? imo, we see our pc/trainer transfer into uva academy n he/she mostlikely in the same grade as nemona but nemona is native from paldea n have been enrolled a year or 2 earlier (we god kids/toddler running in uva uniform around paldea) n finish a few treasure hunts (champ's road) n retracing is her steps to become better trainer with our pc/trainer. uva academy seems to offer courses from kindergarten to college due to all the students seems from the youngest (might be 6 or 8 y/o) to confirmed oldest trainer (60 y/o)

The one reason we probably didn't get an adequate day 1 patch was probably because Gamefreak is incredibly aware of the mistakes that were made. Even though there are tons, the game is most likely getting fixed as we speak. Also keep in mind Japanese work culture is pretty dang harsh so they couldn't afford the luxury of delays.

They just rushed the release date, all the problems could be fixed with enough time, but if this game wasnt released under the name of pokemon and was made by an indie or less known company, no one would have payed 60$ after seeing all the problems it has, people would be like "wtf im not buying that shit who do you think you are?" but as it is a billionary company that owns the name pokemon and all the money they earn from it, they can get away with it easier since well, its pokemon! If they fix all the issues i assure you this could be game of the year, if. A game can only be judged good or bad by seeing and analizing what the company wanted to do and what they did, since it is expected to work properly, but when it doesnt, its the first thing people are going to be looking at, in any game. Look at the cyberpunk issue or the recent gta trilogy remastered, all fireworks and promises until it got released (although cyberpunk has been patched a lot and is better now). Game Freak cant forget this, they gave us an amazing story and region, they can do it work 100% and be absolutely proud of it
