My personal headcanon about starters and Eevee gender ratios is that they normally have an even split between male and female. But breeding ranches monopolize most females so that they can produce enough starters for kids going on their journey and thus would rarely part way with females they do have with a new trainer unless they had a surplus to give away. And Eevee has been shown to be just as a popular choice as a starter in spinoffs so I think it apply to it too.

@@MelniaShadow this would make females even more valuable for commercial breeders and they wouldn´t give any of them away but would rather pay little fortunes to trainers, who breed themselves, to aquire as much female Eevees as possible. a huge number of male offspring would be cheap enough to make them a gift for new trainers and it wouldn´t matter that much, kf they get injured in battle. only males with the best DNA and great stats would be kept for breeding future champion-companions.

My first shiny was a golden Magikarp in Dragon's Den back around 2002, and it evolved into a second red Gyarados, and I was so freaking hyped that I was (as far as I knew) the only person with two red Gyarados. My second shiny is a purple Foongus in Scarlet version I named Sussy Baka. I love them both very much and I am content that they are the only shiny Pokémon I have ever happened upon, both twenty years apart.

The new EXP share is a million times better than the old one. That's not even a question. HOWEVER, it would be dumb to pretend the new one isn't bad as well. In Gens 1-4 you would be constantly underleveled if you didn't farm for hours, which is freaking boring (not to mention most of those games had some huge level gaps between each gym), but in the new ones you get SO much experiencce that you're constantly OVERleveled, and that would be acceptable if (1) the other trainers weren't all morons using 3 pokemon max even in important battles and (2) if you could turn it off like in other games so you can handle experience the way you prefer...

The rising Iron Moths is actually an infuriating glitch experienced by many Violet players who are looking to shiny hunt them.
