I was there! 🙂 It was one of the best concerts I ever attended! It was my second time seeing my favourite bend live...still waiting for the third time. 😊

The National write amazing songs, make fantastic studio albums and always deliver memorable live experiences. I've seen them live close to a dozen times and always get WAY more than my money's worth. This band really cares about their fans and it shows. Thank you, guys. Can't wait to see you again.

Their show at Sydney Opera House also has a really good version of This Is The Last Time, if you haven't seen it. It used to be on the Opera House's own channel but they moved it to the official National one 3 years ago -- if you scroll down to the Sleep Well Beast singles, it's the last upload before they started posting those. That show used to be my go-to for great National live versions, though it's got some healthy competition from these new shows -- what I love about this band live is that each show has its own special take on the songs even if the setlist is similar to ones I've already seen.

Thank you for sharing these - especially in community. It's more than a bright spot in dark times. Some of us are frequently holding on to sanity as an everyday practice. Having little moments to look forward to is everything. Really.

We’ve seen quite a bit of shows from 2014 and onwards, but I’d be really curious to see one from, like, the Alligator era if such a recording exists. A great opportunity to experience songs that we don’t get to experience live all that much anymore, and also a great way to discover the band at a different part of their career
