I Have a question do you use motion capture to animate or use a regular animation method?

I wish I could use motion capture 😂 I use motion reference! I either record videos of myself acting or look at online videos of people doing the movements I need, then I use that as reference for my animations. For this video, I used the original cutscene from MGR as reference. I dont use this 100% of the time though, usually for longer videos like my Among Us animations but not usually for the shorter ones. But even if I dont use video footage, I still physically act out what the character is doing so I have an idea of what body parts to move and how much.
