I think it has a similar mechanism to the mediator at least that’s the theory based on the sound and location of the grip. I love the mediator. Sadly it doesn’t have the gear system because I accidentally threw it out. Or I can’t find it.

I remember wanting this one back in the day when I used to work retail, but never felt like spending the money on it. Had no idea it was infamous until i tried to track it down today. Not sure if I want to buy it still but, good to know if I ever do.
