The swarm fire is the only automated spring powered blaster that is actually useful. It’s a FULL AUTO front loading blaster. It has the best of magazine blasters (being automated with full auto) and the best part of cylinder blasters(front loading) it’s op in all the best ways

You are stuck with 20 darts though, and reloading can be quite a pain especially if you aren’t fast with it. I also personally just like the stampede ergo better, but that’s subjective

I love the stampede, but I needed MORE POWAH and wanted to make it into some sort of AA12 shotgun which will be shooting two darts at once, so I tried to make it into a sealed breach system. When I was almost done, it was shooting from mid sixties to 120 and after several shots it destroyed itself. I call this build "БЛЯТЬ" and now some other guys are struggling with it.

Ohhh the Stampede, a heavy gunner ‘dad blaster’ I got into the Nerf hobby too late to get my hands on at the time. 🤦‍♂️ Now I have the Havok-Fire, Rapidstrike, Hyperfire, Regulator & the Double Punch filling the support gunner role in my arsenal that all are lighter as well as fire faster & further. I just never seen the need to burn £39 on a new Icon one… but it looks, sounds and emits awesomeness and badassery. 😎 I want one, but can’t justify the need for it. 💁‍♂️ Released in 9/9/10, it sure was the legendary face of Nerf that just can’t keep up without mods today. Sure is tempting tho 😅

Try and find used ones on eBay or Facebook or other places, it’s nugget tier out of the box but is very easy to mod with upgraded gears and springs

picked me up a stampede just yesterday, some poor mf tried to use hot glue as sauter and i had to melt it off and re sauter it. it works fine now

The shield goes above the barrel, not on the rail dingus. JK Just got done rewiring a Stampede to take LiPos and as long as you install an addition return spring of some kind, the blaster can handle 2S or 3S LiPos on stock springs. Other than that, I'm sure I don't need to tell anyone how much harder these are to mod. A stronger plunger spring will either break teeth off your gears or snap off the plunger rod "hook" entirely, even if you install metal gears. Epoxy helps but only delays the inevitable.

There are ways to mod it, you just need to be able to get a better gearbox installed+better gears I plan on doing a full overhaul to this thing at some point in the future, as hard as that will be, it’ll be worth it cuz nerf aegs are too cool
