Good Entry Level Watch to get into Rolex. Unfortunately it got hijacked by flippers and the Grey Market. My first Rolex was a Pre-Ceramic Sub. Loved it.

41mm looks much bigger on my 7.5 wrist than the 40mm and a lot smaller than the 40mm maxi case. 41 is perfect!

I've got a Omega Seamaster, Tag Heuer Aquaracer, Breitling Superocean Heritage and other divers but they're just not Subs. They're all great watches but there's only one king of the fivers.

I received a phone call from my AD yesterday Sept 9th. Here in the desert southwest. Wayne, Come on in. Just got this Rolex this morning. No need to rush. It will be sitting in the safe. So I called a jeweler here in town. Are you still interested in my 2015 GMT Robert? Sure am Come on by. Well I was paid for the GMT. Went three blocks to the AD in the mall. There was a sub with the date. $10,100 For the watch. So what I made on my 2015 GMT. I added a few hundred dollars and now get a five year warranty, newer movement, 70 hr. Power reserve and a very accurate sport watch. I didn't realize how hard these watches are to come by. I guess that I fell into the sugar bowl. I still cannot believe it. Out of the blue I get the long awaited call.

Always heard that this 41mm sub feels smaller but it is not. It is bigger and feel bigger and look bigger than previous 40mm maxi case. Thats the reality!!

I know what you mean. I've been wearing a Rolex GMT since 1967. Always had one kind or another Rolex on my wrist. What I have seen the past several years with these buyers that want a Rolex. They don't know why they want one. Makes me want to spit up. but they've got to have one. These 20 something year olds vith their own video parroting numbers. Actually they think that they know more than the watch maker in Switzerland.

The other day I was having morning tea. So I went onto a very well known online dealer. There was The new GMT black and green Bezel. The watch was bought in 2022 actually August. So really not even a month old. Why in the world would anyone sell a one month old Rolex? This watch came into the AD. The owner / manager Automatically sold it for a smooth three thousand profit. Now that is one dishonest AD. At first the online dealer was asking $34,000 just testing the waters. This morning it was selling for right at $30,000. My new sub I bought yesterday. 9/9/2022 I paid $10,100. On line there were several subs 2021and 2022 selling for $17,000. Figure that one out.
