When you're using Albedo vs. a large boss like Tulpa, you want to plant his flower off to the side so it doesn't get immediately erased. You kept trying to plant it directly under him, so Albedo was basically doing jack for the entire fight.

Ya...honestly may have been a better idea to go Itto (if he had him) to give him 2 main dps units and have him in when Navia's 2 e skills are recharging (she should provide enough ER to get Itto back up before his CD ends when she's up). Or he could've went just Navia (at about 140 ER her burst will be back off CD and you could rely on the burst to build crystals and just use them pre 6 shells (he didn't have 6 shells most of the time anyway) and maybe an ice or pyro 2nd dps (Wrio can kill the mini tulpa's almost instantly, well on the world boss version anyway...haven't done this abyss yet, and Pyro would kill them with vape pretty quickly too...even a well built Diluc would probably be good here especially since you can swap him in and out after his burst and still have the flame infused normals between Navia's shots).

I wish they would change how fragile geo constructs can be and how fussy they are with spawning/hitboxes. Especially if you try to have multiple geo contstructs, the game really doesn't like spawning them near each others. Just have it spawn off to the side if its somehow blocked by something.

@@ifrit1937 I think Albedo is fine vs. Tulpa, as Tulpa tends to do slow big hits so as long as your placement is good you should have solid uptime on his flower. I used Bennett / Xiangling / Klee / Albedo for top half, it was super effective. Navia would probably slot in easily for either pyro (didn't have better 2nd geo option).

@@jepeman its a collision box problem. Imagine them indestructible but large enemies get caught on top of it like Zhongli's pillar or Albedo's elevator flower. The most accurate displacement a geo construct would do is vertically like how Geo Traveler's pushes the enemies onto the roof of the meteor.

5:10 Xiangling is the dps in international. Sucrose international does require a bit more of setup to get max value. If Moga had even just used sucrose e before xiangling so she could snapshot the em buff the dps would have gone up by a lot more. Moga if you want a video idea try learning the rotation of sucrose national and see how massive of a difference it makes. And in the right setups you can get xingqiu to nuke his skill too.

The sucrose national team is one of the OG teams. A slight upgrade is a Kazuha national team which I tried to do for floor 12 but I forgot how annoying the thunder bird is. Sadly I had to go running back to Neuvillette lol. We should enjoy the easy abyss while we have it, I’ve heard Wenut is returning soon

Thankfully this abyss is arguably the easiest abyss we've had in many patches. I struggle a bit with abyss but this time I brute forced every floor without needing to restart a single time. Let's hope Hoyo keeps it up with these abyss cycles.

I can confirm that a Nilou bloom is good for the Tulpa. I kept getting quite literally one shot with my Raiden hyper carry. Aside from Nilou bloom, a Taser team containing Yae and Fischl basically wearing it down via Electro-charged spam was good. I tanked some attacks with my Koko.

This abyss was actually the first one I 36*ed, it's honestly not that bad, even if I spent an hour on chamber 3, having my haitham curbstomped by the water frog. I almost regretted running nilou bloom there, but thankfully, it all worked out. Also for second half, focus the eremite's summons. If you defeat them, they get stunned and have like 40% of their hp removed, so definetely worth it.

My solve for this with raiden national is making sure I run circles around it to try and avoid their hits. Having Xinqui, even without his damage, his defensive capabilities helped when I couldn’t dodge.

Yeah, that's the rough part, if you need Benny to get through his hp and/or the other floors. But him being hydro works in your favor as well... super easy to trash with pyro, electro, and dendro DPS, since it comes pre-hydro'd.

Hey Moga, Happy New Year! As for this abyss, I managed to clear with Tighnari/Yae/Fischl/Yaoyao on the first half and Neuvillette/Furina/Zhongli/Kazuha on the second one. What I can say is that first half was haarder, but it mosty comes down to investment (since my Fischl is a bit copium since I'm transioning her set), the second one was a breeze, since my Neuvi is that broken and Furina helped him a lot

As a low- spending player someone who started in Summer 2022, this was actually the first abyss, I was able to 36 star. On the first half of Floor 12 i used Raiden National( C0 Raiden, Skyward Spine; Xiangling C6, Catch R5; Bennett C6, Aquila; Xingqiu C5, Sac R4) and on the second half Ayaka Freeze( Ayaka C1, Amenoma; Kazuha C0, Umbrella Weapon; Kokomi C0, TTDS; Layla C3, Favonious). I had to redo Chamber 1 because Ayaka was heckin weak against the flying electro bs, so after my initial run I just went back in and on my first half side was the International Team with Childe and on the Second half I used Yoimiya. Was quite difficult since Childe and Yoimiya share Artifacts and even my Thundering Pulse but in the end I managed to beat all Chambers with 3 Stars.

Hay @moga, I’m no theory crafter, but I’ve been playing Genshin impact since release. A character I’ve always liked since I saw her was Deyah, however, as we all know she was pretty bad on release so I didn’t pull since I’m free to play and I need to maximize every pull.. recently tho while pulling I got her from the standard banner and decided to try her out despite the bad reviews.. the team consists of Deyah, Nahida, Fruina and Kuki and it’s really really good! Now you might say well those supports are busted so it’s likely them doing the bulk of the damage, and while that is true, I tried different drivers but Deyah somehow felt the most comfortable. Her pyro is slow applying, same as Fruina’s hydro and Kuki’s electro. Nahida applies a tun of dendro allowing for pretty much every reaction in the game outside of freeze, I see vaporize, bloom, hyperboom, burgeon, even overloaded and electro charged all happening and coexisting at the same time because of the slow application and different elements reacting with whatever element is currently applied. I really think a content created should review this team and tell me if there’s sum there or maybe I’m just a Deyah fanboy. Ps I tried the team on floor 12 of the abyss 1st half and actually 3 stared it Deyah was lvl 50 with lvl 1 talents and lvl 0 Hunter artifacts. All my other supports were well built tho!

I only need to restart 3 times because i never fought hydro tulpa before (losing 5050 on furina banner, so i don't have any reason to fight it) so my first impression was like "Will this mofo unleash weird shield? Will it have invincible phase where you need to attack the smoler version of him?" But nope he just pretty tanky and loves to move other side of chamber for couple of times. In the end of the day he just need to get burst down as soon as possible. First half party : Raiden Shogun, Xiangling, Xinqiu, Bennett Second half party : Wanderer, Yelan, Faruzan, Zhongli

When I use my Zhongli I feel nearly invincible for the most part but I don’t think I have him built properly bc I want him to do decent dmg (65kish w/ult) but I also want his shield to be sturdy af. All that aside though when I bring out Albedo with Zhongli it’s like a whole new ball game. His pillars smack and both characters ults return so quickly it’s ridiculous. People down Albedo but he’s top tier in my book for sure.

Out of floor 12 abyss, I found this new abyss easier than even the previous Abyss (mainly because of prev Abyss Chamber 1 phase 1) but I didnt really trouble much from Hydro Tulpa (probably cuz I have Navia and hydro crystalize) but Hydro Tulpa was harder in the overworld for me while farming furina. The only thing that I pained through in this abyss is Thunder Manifestation but since its in Chamber 1 its not as bad as a Chamber 3 TM

The Navia team I have been rolling with completely destroyed the first half, with all chambers including Tulpa in less than a minute each. Furina (c2 though) - Ningguang - Navia - Kokomi. Ningguang on prototype amber and maiden, Kokomi on TTDS and tenacity. Blasted the Tulpa for 300k+ repeatedly, and no concerns at all about dying. Navia hit a 370k on the ruin graders as well, top damage in that run. Now if I just had a team that could handle the second half a little better... considering Navia is both my only geo and only claymore I have built, those geo shields are a pain. Almost got the 36 star first attempt though. That Navia team is really fun. Even the local legends don't stand a chance (including those 2 hydro ones that used to be a pain to kill).

Navia is actually good on first half, i think a lot of people wants to call the team national geographic the ones with Bennet and Xiangling (i just call it hot rock, cause navia's h... nvm), third recommended slot would be Zhongli for his shield and geo reso. (though if you place albedo's flower correctly, the crystalizes should be enough shields) on 2nd half, if you have kazuha, he actually takes care of the geo slime shield pretty quickly though I've seen 9* clears just brute forcing it (i.e. teams without any blunt attacks)

First half - Raiden National. Second Half - Neuvillete, Furina, Kazuha, and Zhongli. I’ll admit they’re elite teams that are known to easily clear most abyss’, and I can attest to that, but dang is it good to feel powerful when playing f2p

Used Neuvi + Furina in the 2nd half and oh boi it's really easy especially against Thunder Manifestation (it's funny how Furina's pets keeps chasing Thunder Manifestation). XD As for 1st half, Hyperbloom works really well too with Tulpa being the only challenging part in the Abyss (took me 3 retries to beat it under 8:45 sec).

For the hydro culpa: Tighnari is really good here as dendro just threads through hydro infused enemies and he's ranged so you can keep your distance without loosing dps. His patterns are actually pretty simple and I often use Amber in open world against this dude so This abyss was really about planning your teams and knowing mechanics.

Honestly speaking, the thunderbird was most annoying part of this abyss cycle. I finished that chamber by the skin if my teeth because I had to keep chasing after it. For Tulpa I just used Raiden National, but I swapped Xingqiu out for Nahida. It seemed to work ok.

I cleared using Keqing Nahida Xingqiu Kuki first half, and Zhongli Hutao Yelan Furina second half. Overall wasn't that bad but would have been a lot worse if I didn't run Zhongli second half to break Geo shield on slimes in floor 2.

Navia is fine on ether side this cycle to be honest. I got confused by Furina in first half when that hydro boss was clearly shown already but I assumed a challenge run. I used Navia, Yae, Fischl, Zhongli for the first half and Dehya, Furina,Nahida and Kokomi for burgeon on second half. It was smooth for me on this really but the hydro dude can hit hard if you're not paying attention.

This abyss is actually the closest I've been to a full clear. Previously I'd get 33 stars, each chamber nearing 5 minute completion times. This abyss, I cleared the first and second chambers with 3 stars, and the last with only 25 seconds over 7 minutes

it’s crazy that Moga found the last floor 12 harder because, as F2P and never three starring floor 12, I managed to easily three star the first two chambers with my regular teams? I was so shocked

tulpa was pretty easy with navia,bennet,xiangling, zhongli got vaporized in bennets circle my first run but secon run clear in just couple secs

I did floor 12 with Navia Noelle Furina Yelan. Noelle pairs well with Navia as a second DPS and she gets plenty of fanfare. I could have gone Bennett instead of Yelan and probably have done a little quicker though.

a team i had luck with was navia zhongli bennet xiangling, ik it uses bennet and xiangling who are op on there own, but in the end yo didn't use them on either side, and they helped me get clears under 50-40 seconds top half

My Floor 12 team: First Half: Alhaitham, Furina, Ei, Baizhu Second Half: Neuvi, Nahida, Yae (Usually Ei cause she synergizes better but I needed her for Haitham), Zhongli. Full cleared with this team.

Hydro tulpa was too easy for me. I took navia Bennett Xiangling and albedo for first half and yoimiya xingqiu yelan Zhongli for second half and this was the easiest 36 star I've done till now
