This all looks great, but let's not get screwed over financially by the 🇺🇸! India ended up paying more for an Apache than a Typhoon!! Also, being the only tier one partner in the F 35 programme, we are still receiving them at a rediculisously slow rate. Of course this could be the fault of either side! Probably the MoD, as they couldn't manage a pissup in a brewery!

Not just the F-35. The US lost quite a few lives & many Billions of Dollars inventing the Osprey. If this ends up being a better product then the Osprey development is even more of a hell of waste of money. It's lucky the Yanks can just keep printing more $$$ any time they need it. This is a grossly incompetent video. Future Vertical Lift is a United States Army program not a British army one. The British Army do not operate helicopters of this size: they never have. The Ministry of Defence has signed a cooperation deal with the Pentagon which MAY lead to the RAF eventually buying the winner of FVL. The MOD has also signed a European agreement to develop a future medium weight helicopter.

Just google for Kamov and look when those machines were and are built. And other countries do it to. The only reason the USA (and in the future likely the UK) seem to be ahead is because they ignore the needs of large parts of their own population. Sikorsky was Russian, many of the pre-ww2 american fighters were designed by Russians in the USA, the AK47and current weapons in Russia are advanced beyond what you might imagine, i am sure the Russians can design and develop equally as well as any other nation, sadly the UK has sold off or betrayed it's workforce over the past 70 years. Madness. If this helicopter ever becomes reality it will be a miracle.

Ha, we either wont get it, most likely, or we will get it after buggering around with it so much to save some tiny part of uk industry that is now rubbish, and with an extended warranty. A bit like the warranty you get offered on a well know uk computer outlet, when you go to spend 100 quid, you have only 100 quid, look fella, if you insist i buy your 30 quid policy, then i will put back the 100 quid version, and buy the 70 quid version, i only have 100 quid.
