It is bit sad to see a house of this caliber is being built with mostly wood plywood, 2x4s, etc. I know it is by American code etc, but a true solid build house gotta be brick mortar concrete... like European style... those houses last forever!

The ideal building materials and techniques will vary based on where you are around the world. The idea that because brick works great in Europe, it must be perfect for the Nevada desert is misguided. US building codes contend with more extreme heat, earthquakes, tornadoes, and more.
