The New Class 805 Evero is out on the rails. So I managed to go via Tamworth to ride on one! What do you think of the new train, do you prefer them to the Voyager or Pendolino?

It does have automatic announcements, perhaps they weren’t working.

It went bing bong, but cut off and the train manager was speaking, maybe they’re not setup right or as they’re ex voyager crew, they’re not used to having auto announcements?

The seats aren’t amazing (better than other 8xx though) but the ride is rough compared to the pendolinos
