Glad Walter got to work w AWE, he’s the man! Looking forward to meeting him this weekend 🙌🏽

Great in-depth video! Curious to see how this Gen2 mated to an Equal length midpipe sounds as well.

I don’t think it will be any different. The back box is likely the same just not angled. Like I said earlier I’m on a mission to find the best sound. I really want to hear.. Catless downpipes AA Equal Length resonated midpipe Awe switchpath( gen 1 or gen 2 doesn’t matter)
@TheDailyDriven2 жыл бұрын
I'll have to get Walter to come back down to figure that out. I know there's a few guys that wanted to see if that would fit.

I like both exhaust but my favorite sound so far is the exhaust he had on it first
@TheDailyDriven2 жыл бұрын
Yeah its tough but end of the day sound is precieved differently. I can honestly say I still love my setup more

@@TheDailyDriven you are right. So is it possible to do an exhaust comparison with like three or four other M3/M4 owners?

I have heard that Evanituri charge pipes are the same size as stock, but this is a rumor deserves to be checked out also have heard the same about mishimoto charge pipes being the same size as factory. This might help with fitness issues issues with other mods. Thanks for a great content. Always checking in and seeing what’s up

I currently have the AWE switchpath exhaust and I'm trying to decided on a downpipe to get it louder
@TheDailyDriven Жыл бұрын
Active Autowerke's catted downpipe will get you some more volume. You can pair that also with the Dahler Valve controller. That will help open the valves up to 100%

Where did you get that AWE M T-shirt?
@ShrugMedia2 жыл бұрын
The AWE s flow Carbonfiber air intakes do look super good it's unfortunate he wasn't able to have them installed. The new AWE switchpath Gen2 does sound good. It's making it hard for me to decide to go with AWE or Active.

Love the video. perfect for my current situation, have the Active Autowerke equal length and waiting to choose the perfect rear section 🤔

I absolutely love my current setup. I'm glad the team over at Active were able to help custom fab a connector pipe. The two joining of companies on this application really makes driving enjoyable
@scarygary932 жыл бұрын
I have the AA axleback with mine. The midpipe is definitely where the sound difference comes from, so just try to determine which axleback gives the right look and tip position out back.

It'll fit with some custom connector pipes but the new Gen 2 does not make it a bolt ok as compared to Gen 1 with the Active Eq Midpipe.

I'm thinking about doing that color on my calipers...is that acid green porche?....you think color would look good on a light silver 535i?
@TheDailyDriven2 жыл бұрын
Those calipers definitely would look good and eye catching but it might be better on a darker color. Also depends on what exterior mods you have that may complement or clash.

I prefer having a valved exhaust. At least for mine it’s nice having the option to go kinda quiet, and then RUDE BOI at the touch of a button 😂. Gen 2 sounds great, but your setup is 🐐

Totally agree bro. The valved exhaust is the way to go !...rude Boi lol 😆

I wouldn't be surprised if the mishimoto charge pipes fit with the AWE intake, most of the aftermarket charge pipes are junk
