I bought a 2022 Bayliner Trophy 22cx with 250hp with a pro kicker motor 15hp. I'm impressed how the boat preform off shore with a 18 degree deadrise. I'm impressed with the boat price. Not everyone can afford a boat over 70k. But Bayliner is own by Brunswick Corporation which they own many boats brand, especially Boston Whaler. It's something to look out for.

How does it do trolling with that kicker motor? Would like to see a video of one with a kicker mounted on it. Sweet boat!

do they still use wood for hull construction? or did they finally moved on to no wood?

I’m glad to see Bayliner has stepped up their game with their fit, functions and designs. Their name doesn’t help them though. Poorly built boats of yesteryear still looms over. The 2 piece mold, poor chopper gun layup is what most people think when they hear the name. So I wish them great success with the newly introduced lineup.

Can you get that boat a bit bigger? Like a 27 or 30 footer? Also a Head with a Sink and possibly a Shower

A 225hp on a 24 ft boat? Seems a bit under powered?

that is where they save some on the price. It should be rated or come standard with at least a 300-350 hp merc engine.

Went on a 2021 T22 CX. Was not impressed by the quality at all. Things seemed to break much easier. The quality of the cushions are terrible. Would be a must replace for me. Couldn't see half the stuff lasting more than a couple of seasons.

Should have left your plant in Cumberland md that was a mistake we were #1 in damage shipping safety with a million man hrs all with 2 plants working under one quota pushing out 50 to 75 boats a week with both plants and they shut us down cause shipping logistics 🤬

70k for a small boat, where the heck do people get all this money, the boat bubble has too burst pretty soon with fuel prices so just wait these things will be everywhere

I dunno man, it seems to be a seller’s market. I’d love it if you were right, but boats are - rightly or wrongly - viewed as luxury items, and are priced accordingly. There ARE legit labor costs (and low sales volume) that make boat production expensive. Sportsman seems to make good boats at a reasonable price, or at least relatively reasonable.

This is a nice boat for the money. But yes it not a sportsman they came out of nowhere and are killing it, the new 261 is VERY NICE!
