would that black colour fade if exposed to sunlight over say a few months? I have many bags where they have faded.. I prefer the black to the other colours, but am not sure if I should go for it..

Nice looking sling! The strap to keep it tight on the body sounds good, if it works as intended, and yes, you do pay the Bellroy "premium" in build and materials. I have the Duo Tote and it's amazingly well built, but expensive. I suspect this would be the same, though there are plenty of other slings WAY more expensive than this one.

Great review, although water bottles should not be carried in the main compartment with your precious,fragile gear. They should be carried in netting outside the main compartment and with easy access. Is there a sling bag which allows you to carry water bottles in such a way?

Odd question, but how big is your water bottle? I'd love to get a sling that has enough space to fit a 40oz hydroflask!

Not odd at all my friend! The bottle I used in this video was a 500ml Kinto Travel Tumbler. rushfaster.com.au/product/kinto/500ml-travel-tumbler-black/18774/ Not 100% sure about the 40oz Hydroflask, but my 32oz Nalgene fits in there fine! :) I'd say that the 40oz HF might be a tight squeeze but because it's a bit slimmer you might have a good chance of fitting it in. Thanks! Mmm you could potentially squeeze in a DSLR with a pancake lens but I wouldn't recommend it. Would be too finicky trying to get it in and out. Should be good with Mirrorless though. Hope that helps! - Ed

Are there any anti-theft features imbedded? Like steel wire inside the lining making it anti-slash or covered zippers? I would like one but it might not survive the streets here in Manila.

Do you think a Nalgene/wide mouth hydroflask sized bottle would fit in there without obstructing and pushing into the other pockets

My classic 32oz Nalgene fits in there like a charm, but yeah it does bite into the space of the front quick-access pocket, so you'll have to pack smaller things in there (its meant for smaller things anyway). But the main compartment still has decent space on the sides and top for more gear. Hope that helps! - Ed

The orbitkey is a pretty expensive key organizers but they are better in quality, in use, and in function than all the key organizers on the market in that style. The leather one is around $45, the rubber one is $25. I have the leather one but I recommend the nylon one.

The Bellroy Sling 7L only has an external dimension of 34x23x10 cm, it's quite small for a machete, but would probably fit a dagger.

No I think it'll be too big for the Bellroy Sling. Bellroy actually has a size comparison tool on their website so you can kinda have a better idea on whether things fit or not. But it looks like even an iPad 10" will be a tricky fit. Hope that helps - Ed

The main compartment zipper opening look small

Yeah that's probably our one qualm with the sling. The main compartment zipper opening isn't as wide as we would like - I think I would've liked a more U-shaped opening. But overall - great sling. - Ed

Kind of a bad design in my opinion considering the amazing products bellroy has got, I really like the Aer day sling 2 better, it has a lower capacity but better pocket distribution and more durable materials overall.

Yeah, the Aer Sling 2 is really popular, we'd love to get our hands on it! :) The Bellroy Sling might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's a very decent addition to the current sling offering in the carry world. Anything in particular that makes you think it's a bad design?

@@RushfasterTV thanks for the reply, I would say more than bad design it is the poor pocket distribution since the Aer sling 2 is a little smaller but has better inside compartments and can have better configurations for essentials and ease of access and overall the ballistic nylon 1680d or something has a better durability ratio I would say, what do you think of my comments?

@@tonysimon8060 Yeah you make some pretty decent points, the Aer Sling has more organisation options for sure and the 1680D Balistic Nylon will definitely hold up better over time (I also prefer the fact that the zipper to the main compartment comes down the sides a bit for easier access. But I think the Bellroy Sling is good in it's own right too, with the easy to use magnetic clasp, the self compression and a much bigger 7L capacity. Definitely good contenders though I must say! :)
