I don’t love the nose up posture of the Krej but I can see the Finisher being good on aggressive schooling fish. Interesting for sure. You probably just saved me a bunch of cash. Thanks

My pleasure, thats my goal. I want people to know what they are buying. I agree with you on both points. The jury is still out in my opinion because the water is so cold where Im at. The fish dont seem to be responding to anything but a jerkbait or small to medium size swimbait.

I have fished the krej. On the 3rd cast caught a 9lb bass and then a 4.7lb. Plus a few others all under 3lbs. I really think it will be a great lure

In one lake only, I caught a 3lbr and a few smalls, my girl caught a 1. 5lb crappie, all on 1/2oz Finisher. Not much interested in the Krej, a few follows. All on AT2 so I'm not guessing. I think the Krej will be a cold water bait.

I'm not sure if I can walk the Finisher. I use heavier line, also I think a heavy leader wouldn't foul as much but lighter main line would allow more movement. I'll play.

@@KissmyBasss I am actually going to mess around with the finisher this weekend. I have a derby at a body of water where there is a lot of tiny bait and looking for something that stands out a bit. Well see what happens.

I haven't fished the Krej yet. But I have tried the Finisher on livescope. I had some success with it. I fished it like a hard version of a hover rig. I would throw it out to fish and let it fall to just above them and then work with small twitches. One time I watched a spotted bass rocket up from 10ft lower than the bait to smash it.

Yeah that makes sense. From my testing thats were I can see it working. Although I did fish it like that twice with no luck. Spots are a bit more aggressive then largemouth. Iv only tried it around largemouth in some pretty cold water.

The only success I've had with the krej is swimming it across the surface when the bass are schooling. (They've become so used to other topwater baits.) You can really launch the krej--and recently I had three blowups on a single retrieve!

If you want shills that are going to blow smoke at you this is not the channel for you. I say it how I see it. if you dont like it thats fine. I always buy multiple colors or sizes of a new lure. I'll use one or two and if I dont like them I will return the unopened ones. I just bought a half dozen of the new trixters because Iv thrown that spinnerbait for 10 years. I tried one and I dont like it. I will return 5.
