The hole next to the tank filler neck is for diesel vehicles in Europe. You have to fill up with an additive called AdBlue.

by the looks of it, i would be very annoyed with the tech. No physical buttons for hvac and that tacked on screen looks so cheap. I get it, you have to have screens but you can also have real gauges and some buttons. Exterior looks terrible vs outgoing car.

Agree. They do this because its cheaper to produce a small screen that can be programmed to do anything instead of physical buttons. And they push this for you to pay extra as a feature xd.

@@TommyLGarage Got e39 190hp in a perfect condition and it's great. Why? They introduced Clear Transport Zones in Paris, Berlin, Warsaw (soon) and many more. It's the only reason. g60 have better expire date than g30.

I don’t hate it. I definitely am excited for the new m5 tho. I had the 530 as a loaner car recently and I do like the ride and technology. I did find some of the tech confusing and hard to operate as I was driving 😂

I'm not a fan of the looks. I'm curious how the new M5 will sell being so heavy and hybrid. I do like the wagon model they are making. Think I will hang on to my F90 as a simple tune makes it just as fast as the new M5 that apparently will have 718HP according to the report I read on Bimmer Post yesterday.

I would not consider the new m5 at all. I line wagon styling but weight and hybrid and idrive are a no no for me

…I might consider this vehicle (either i5 M60 or 540i) used in a year or two…as I learned an expensive lesson to not to buy the vehicle brand new (unless it’s an M car) where the used 5 series is all about race to the bottom price. It happened to G30 tho.

Thank you for the review. I understand you are getting older, and I am older than you. I have a G30 540ix, and I'm not happy with the luxury feel of my car. I want the ultimate driving machine back, like in the E39. If I wished to experience the luxury feel, I would go to Mercedes.

No, no, no, no no no-no, no... BMW is dead for me. I am finding it horrible outside. RIP BMW. Even Mercedes-Benz is doing better. These screens omg, why... I am getting old, that's the issue 😇 Maybe I should also spend more time with it to have my mind changed. Interior looks nice and seats are an important part of a vehicle - good to hear you liked them since you can compare. Just too bad they made such an ugly exterior design, this is a significant failure imo, not a 5er anymore...
