I have to disagree. Honestly, those angel lights were a trademark, but when I saw a side-to-side comparison in the headlights, the new headlights look far more aggressive. It looks like snake eyes. The front looks aggressive and the rear is sleak with those laser taillights. I absolutely love the new changes.

I really fail to understand why the promotion material for an M4 is done in this style, with avatars/personas that are far from the target audience. I get trying to be with the times and conveighing a 'forward thinking' message. But these trendy commertials take away from the authenticity of the brand and alienate the true core audience. No artsy alterative person is driving an M-car, It's fine for your electric and hybrid range but M's get driven by enthausiasts. Thats been the biggest complaint over the years, making the M's seem special instead of deluting them. Mechanicly Its a job well done the S engines and drivetrains are truely living up to their name. But with the promotion material and styling I cant help but feel dissapointed in seeing yet another brand desperately pander to the cool new trend. That trend will be forgotten, those people won't buy M's but enthusiast will remain. So be mindfull of who you tailor your branding to. I don't know, just my two cent's.

Very minor facelift. The DRL are a different design. Laser-style rear lights are now available (not standard though). There is an all-silver wheel option (hooray from me). Inside, the steering wheel is flattened at the bottom with a red 12 o'clock marker, and optionally available covered with alcantara, and the vents and central stack have been tweaked. Of course, the central screen and driver dash screen was already heavily updated a year ago so this change continues into the LCI. Finally the xDrive version only has gained 20 HP. I think that covers most of it.
