Im an ex pat living in Australia these days (originally from Belvedere). Love your videos mate. Im having a day off work binge watching. Makes me miss England and carp fishing.

we're from the same part of the world I was originally Dartford and Bexleyheath, I'm sure Australia is very special but if you've grown up with UK carp fishing then it always stays with you - enjoy the videos anyway!!! 🙂👍👍

@@stevebriggs4638 Surprised I never saw you around. I probably fished different waters to you. I had a long spell on Southmere in thamesmead, Horton and linford one.

To me Steve is a very lucky guy, he makes his living doing what he, and all of us watching this, loves. But the difference between Steve and other well-known anglers is that he's humble. He's got no ego, he fishes how he wants without following trends, and he keeps things really simple. He relies on his experience and watercraft. He also values every single fish he catches and treats them all with respect and care. I hope he continues to thrill us with his Carp catching exploits for many years to come.

Thank you so much Paul for those words, that is so kind!!! I do just go fishing for the love of it and making it my job just seemed the natural thing to do especially as I hated most of the ‘proper’ jobs I had 😆 I do find that doing things my own way is much better than copying other people although I do always learn from others. 👍👍👍👍

Bushwhacker, Bushwhacker, Bushwhacker, Scopex squid, feckin Nash advert!! A fish in each landing net one of which is beached and half out of the water for the entire sequence of video which; has obviously been edited, god knows how long it was like that!! Bad angling Steve.

Jenny, you seem to not realise that people can watch the video of yourself on your own channel sticking your fingers in a trouts gill cover until it’s pouring with blood before you’ve knocked it on the head. 🙄 bad angling Jenny, bad angling.
@Kingcarparpeggio2 жыл бұрын
Jenny Tillwort before you start lecturing vastly more experienced anglers than yourself, you’d be well-advised when fly fishing on Grafham 2 to be wearing a life-jacket when in a boat…..we wouldn’t want you to drown now , would we ??? Steve Briggs can do you a tutorial on boatwork, he’s done more of that than most.
