Got fitted today in downtown Chicago. Hit all the brand new 2023 models with different Fujikura shafts. Ping, TaylorMade, Srixion, etc and Ventus Black shaft with the LS AreoJet one. Longest and tightest scatagram for me

I prefer G430/TSr type names but it certainly wouldn't stop me from buying one... they look fantastic and Cobra has been awesome since at least the ZL Encore and Amp Cell woods.

Loved my Radspeed ! Had it for 3 years or so face got dent then eventually cracked. Just got the 50th anniversary aerojet and I love it so far ! I was hoping it held up to the radspeed and I wasn't disappointed.

I bought a speedzone couple years back the yellow and black ....and I love it ....only got to use it for 1 season due to a health issue that has benched me for over 8 months now and still trying to get healthy enough to get back on the course ....it has really been hard not getting to play

Cobra Woods I like and I am still in Love with My F 9 driver..No need to spend $ 550 for 3 to 4 more yards...Better spend it on strength training and get my swing speed up to 118 and then some...Then My F 9 driver will get a 330 carry also..Thanks...

I love it James! I have the Radspeed XB and I find it to be great. It's very forgiving and gets great distance. I would play any Cobra driver.

I use a cobra 3/4 speed zone wood. It the best most consistent wood in my bag. I hit it a constant 220 in 3 wood and maybe 200 on the 4 wood setting. I hit my driver maybe 260 or so rolling out to 280. My 2/3 iron hybrid is also a cobra. So yeah I like cobra woods and Taylormade Burner Xd Titanium irons. With some cheap wedges that I wanna upgrade to the Kirkland wedge set.

I tested a Ping G425 SFT last year and put it right into my bag as I was hitting straight bombs on the range. This year I want to get fitted into a driver to see how much performance I left on the table when I did that. I was waiting to see what Cobra did for this year. I don't like the name nor am I big on the looks of the driver, but if it performs it may make it into my bag. Planning on fitting between the G430, Aerojet, Stealth, and at least 1 other to see what will be best for me. Curious how this performs next to the previous model. If gains are minimal, I might be willing to go with the older model.

They look great, however I've seen a few reviews that stated they are a bit harder to hit than the other big 3 new drivers to get the most out of them. only 3 cc difference between LS version and Std seems a bit odd.

First took up golf 5 years ago using a buddys used F7. Ended up buying an F9 and since then i can't find any driver that i like or can hit better. I tried his new stealth this past October and just don't have the consistency that i do with my F9. I'm waiting on the F10. Lol.

Still play the F9 suite and very happy. Was tempted with LTDx and may wait until they are even cheaper now this has come out. Although as a City fan the blue is drawing me in ………..

I tried this today (the standard model) and I thought the spin rates were much more consistent than the LTDX. And I thought it felt better too. Was a few yards longer for me. The LS head was longer but spin was like 300-400 lower and not enough spin for my swing which is 103mph or so.

I always like the Cobra products. They feel good and when I've tested them I hit them well. However, their colors and names are a bit off and I have always preferred/selected other manufacturers products above them.

Besides, I'm 73 now and what's a few more yards in distance when I'd have to make a big $$$ investment and learn to hit a new driver consistently?

Big cobra fan here and just bought LTDx LS driver. Maybe I am crazy but this driver does not appeal to me at all. I think it looks cheap and tacky and is even more expensive than previous drivers.

As a Cobra SZ owner I'm not too fussed what they call it as long as it gets off the tee and onto the fairway. Have to say that Aerojet sounds more like a steam iron than a golf iron. Colour scheme is not seen at the point of address and it lives in the head cover after use, but I get what you mean. Cobra may be listening to you about club colours that transcend gender marketing. Great review bud.

Dont mind "Aerojet", feels back in line with SpeedZone and Radspeed where I was kind of dissapointed by LTD for being sooo plain for a brand that was building off of being a bit different which is what attracted me to them tbh. Color scheme here is also fine, kinda miss the brighter yellow or neon green just because different, but since its still 90% black with splashes of the others I dont mind it. Again LTD's black with a little bit of off gold and white just felt so boring, but they also released several special edition versions that looked very nice. Also I had an AeroBurner as my first kind of grown up legit club purchase and I loved that thing, name kinda meh but looks I really liked, so I will not allow slander!

If you have a Driver from past 8 years that works for you why spend this sort of money? Better spend the money on a Custom fit Putter for me. Much better to save a few shots here than gain 3 or 4 yards distance! That said good review again from James.

James as usual a really good in depth analysis but here we are again a driver that retails at £429.00 you could buy a brand new set of those takomo 101s for less than the cost of this driver ,and above all they are easier to hit many high handicappers like my self struggle with a driver and lose far too many balls with bad strikes yet we punish ourselves and believe the hype that these new drivers are so forgiving they will improve our game, no practice will improve your game, the magic guarantee hit straight driver is still to be invented.

I always liked Cobra drivers, they just perform so well. The name is weird, but that doesnt bother me as at the end of the day the name has nothing to do with the performance. The color is ok, but Cobra will probably release an all black version of it like they did with the previous versions which I think will make this look soooo good.

Great review as always James. It's amazing the little turn on/offs for golf clubs there are. The name and the color mean nothing when playing, but shelf appeal is a huge decision factor. Aerojet is a better name than LTD or RAD Speed, but not great by any means. I'm in the market for a new driver this year and its looking like the Ping G430 LST.

I’ve always thought club names are incredibly irrelevant. I will say my whole bag is Cobra except for my old Ping G10 driver. Being a huge Cobra fan and Marvel fan, this looks like something out of Stark’s garage haha. Therefore I’m all for the Aerojet.. may be time for a fitting with this model and ditch the G10. Ive watched many cobra models go by over the years but this one makes me want to cash out.
