In real life back in the 1980s, when smuggling cocaine into the US was a big thing, Police agencies would confiscate the high-end vehicles from those arrested and deck them out in police liveries with lights and other equipment. That is what Rockstar is trying to duplicate with this one.

@@jaybbuck15 I do Random RP sometimes in Free Aim Lobbies but at some Point a coked out Player comes around and Ruins everything with an Oppressor Mk2 Missile Lock On Jammer doesn't help when You're using any Police Car except Armored Terminus Patrol 🤷‍♂️. Players seem to get more Aggressive than usual when I take my Caracara Pursuit out for a Spin to Roleplay, might have something to with an Attempt of a Border Patrol Livery I have on the Truck 🤭.

Sorry, you say they haven't fixed the inability to customize the cop cars at the LS Customs shop. But they specifically clarified that the police vehicles have to be customized in a personal custom shop. Their reasoning, I don't know, but it's not a bug, it's an intended "feature" to owning one of those vehicles.

I agree with some of the other creators like TGG that the police cars are more for players that have a ton of money and have nothing to spend on that already bought everything they wanted. I do wonder if they would’ve come out with the Cops’n’Crooks dlc back in like 2020, if the non og cop cars (like the Stainer, Park Ranger) but like the Gauntlet Hellfire, that they would’ve put a bit more effort into them instead of take a dlc car, slap some police decals and equipment on it, left whatever custom mods came with it, and call it a day.

The handling model on a decent chunk of the police cars is totally different on the base model versions too, it's most apparent on the Challenger.

Cop cars could be priced a little more than the original vehicle due to the police package with better paformance. Sure I've put 4800+hrs into GTA5, but I haven't touched it maybe 200hrs total in the last 2yrs...the last two DLCs made me come back for maybe 25-30hrs in-which this last one less than 10hrs... I've switched to PC from PS4 Pro in February and have not bought GTA5 on PC. I'm about 20% interested in GTA6, but not for 3-4yrs after release and on sale. However, however, that's solely based on how much R* makes gta+ essentially a requirement locking actual content behind it AND if a money mod menu gets me banned. If both those points are in affect...I've no interest in GTA at all. I'm not a GTA simp!
