To be fair to Tom, he probably *is* the biggest Creeper World influencer at this point, certainly in volume. I know I checked out the Creeper World 4 and previous installments because of him. The fact they put a reference to him in the game is a nice touch though.

While I definitely checked out CW4 because of Tom, when "BAM" started showing up in the custom level tags is when I really got a sense of just how much Tom ended up bringing folks over to play it.

Really like the pressure mechanic they implemented for creeper that's stuck underground so it's not too obvious and you get a massive wave if you're not prepared.

Same here. It sets up for really interesting potential solutions on relieving pressure to direct the Creeper in ways that you can deal with, and also ways for things to just go catastrophically sideways in really unexpected ways as well.

The fact that you are in the game is not a surprise. The big surprise is that there isn't a character called "John Rambo".

Well the problem with that would be that Lionsgate (to my knowledge anyway) owns the rights to the Rambo franchise. Tom calling the supper upgraded shooty boi "John Rambo" is simply a reference to the titular character, who for the most part acts as a one-man army in the action films and comics from which he is based.

@@Swordkirby9999 Pretty sure they could just slightly adapt the name and it would be legal. Lot's of games have references to Rambo, Terminator, Robo-cop etc. and often call them something similar. I mean look at broforce ^^ But then again, I'm not a lawyer and if I was an indie studio I sure as hell wouldn't want to risk it anyways, or go through the trouble of talking it through with a lawyer.

I absolutely love those Angorium TOM guys! The graphics really feel like a game from the 90s and I am absolutely here for it. At first I thought the gameplay was going to be something removed from CW4 but honestly they did a great job making it both feel similar gameplay wise while also making it quite new and different. Very cool!

Play as human being the of course default mode, then PAC became probably more popular, and all the spinoffs with cursors, FPS, and even the CSM maps based on the older games; so many cool ideas brought forward. Some people are saying the graphics are bad, but they're missing important context, which is having been a gamer in like 1997, and appreciating fine Bryce-based CGI (that menu background!). SMH.

also, i like the pathfinding solution he came up with. instead of big ships getting stuck, they just flow like water around obstacles. i wasn't sure how to feel about it at first, but it grew on me quickly when i realized how much better the gameplay would feel knowing your units are actually going to go where you want them to go.

Если более серьёзно, то терраформинг в 2D влияет гораздо сильнее, чем в 3D. Думаю, мне это нравится) И замкнутые области с высоким давлением сильнее заставляют игрока думать наперёд, чем просто большой бассейн крипера, который мы видели в 3D. Тактическая составляющая стала сильнее, это хорошо. Мне ещё нравится цвет антикрипера по сравнению с другими частями. Цвет морской волны определённо красивее, чем белёсый!

Sorry to have to tell you this, but you have to replay the second mission. There is a pocket of creeper at the very bottom of the map you missed because your UI hid it from you.
