Appreciate the attempts to make Eagle more rugged with industrial grade memory and ssd, to me that is the best news for this new generation❤. However, being a guy that did went out at -16 Celsius and failed to even start the Eagle 3 (unsure if due to battery voltage or pc limitations at that temperature), I do have to ask, what is the operating temperature Eagle 5 is now rated for?

Thank you! The Industrial Grade certification for EAGLE5’s RAM and SSD modules is as low as -20°C. The motherboard with processor is certified for a storage range of -20°C +40°C and an operational range of 0°C-40°C. This temperature range is not related to environmental temperature but it’s referring to temperature inside of the EAGLE’s chassis. In fact, also if outside the temperature is very low, inside the chassis the temperature is always warmer because of the enclosed chassis and the heat generated by the processor. Filippo

Hello! The new EAGLE Manager X comes with a new system to let you connect in an easier way not only when you directly connects to the EAGLE, but also when you connect it to a pre-existing network. This way you can remotely connect to it in an easier way!

How difficult would it bet to pull the GPS data or the motion sensor data to save that as metadata in Nina for example?

All the EAGLE’s sensors data are already available to third party software developers thanks to the integrated EAGLE’s webserver. At the end of EAGLE user manual there are all the commands developers can use to control ports, import GPS, get Inclinometer data, check power, etc.
