So well said. What Gina is talking about and how she is contributing is so important, not only for the heath, safety, equality and well-being of women and girls, but for everyone -- even men are not served by sexism, oppression and hierarchal religion. This movement is happening across the world, and reveals the true spirit of Jesus emerging as society evolves to be more empathic, intelligent and unified. (Even evangelicals like Jimmy Carter are on board -- his new book touches the surface of the global issues in the realm of religion & women.) Thank you for this, Gina! You doing amazing work.

When she speaks she is showing how religious believes and feminism can work and I find that to be wholly inspirational. The way she speaks shows how passionate she is about women in religion and men seem to be more predominant in roles. The woman in the video has been one of the few who paved the way for the new generation of women in religion. It is a freedom of choice to believe in a religion and the fact that a woman or a man chooses shows freedom

Religions Aren't Equal For Men And Women. In Islam Is There Any Imam In A Mosque Who Is A Girl ? In Christianity Is There Any Father In A Church Who Is A Girl ? In Buddhism Is There Any Bhikkhu In A Pagoda Who Is A Girl ? In Hinduism Is There Any Pandit In A Temple Who Is A Girl ? And It Goes On And On. If You Judge All The Religious Books No Matter How Much They Say Both Are Equal. Religions And Religious Peoples Never Did And Will Accept Them As Equal.

Organized religion is losing members because it refuses to reform itself to fit the current times we live in. It refuses to set the record straight where it has wronged women with its double standards and refuses to address contemporary issues. Mainstream religion is living in the past and unless there is a religious revolution, I think more and more people will become agnostic. You can't expect people to continue to relate to these ancient scriptures in a modern world.

Meanwhile, in Islam heaven is at the feet of the mother because only women have a hand in creation. Plus, women are free to engage in business/remain unmarried/get divorces/have wealth that their husband cannot touch. Of course God is made in the image of humanity but its of a male figure... A "Father" figure,a parent..a woman comes from the ribs of a man made in the image of God. God saw that Adam was 'lonely' so eve was made. Women were created to fill in the areas where men are flawed..men are created to fill in the areas where women are flawed at. Im not tryna be biased about it. This generation today has drifted so far from what Christianity really is. Think about it for a sec.. Why didnt Jesus called Him "Mother"? Its really not about men vs women "Battle of the genders" huhha ...its not. A Father represents being respected, being righteous but forgiving, fierce but Just and loving at the same time. The bible said so too.. Humanity will never fully understand or comprehand what He is thinking or planning for us. And trust me im not saying male is created in the image of God, so men is God.. No!! But just keep the story as it is please. I have no ill intention towards women..but sometimes its fustrating to see us changing the narrative even if the intentions were good.. We dont get to change the narrative in the bible. And men and women are both equal and loves us the same in the eyes of God but truly speaking men and women are not "equally made" for if both the genders were made really equal, identical almost.. God wont have created two genders. Both the genders are flawed yes. But together they help each other to make their weaknesses to strengths. Thats the beauty of men and women. Worldly they are not made equal but in the eyes of God both are equal. I see some ratical women struggling their whole lives to compete with men in everything to show the world or feed her ego to prove that men and women are equal mentally, physically, intellectualualy .. But both the genders have unique traits. they were never made equal my brothers and sisters. They were not. God made "us" to have a relationship ,to be compatible. God bless us all .amen

So true, we should stop putting our focus on ourselves and direct it on Jesus who knows everyone by heart and knows whats best for everyone. Men are simply going to be better at women at different things, but as you said women are going to be AMAZING at others things that men lack. It makes me so sad. I'm not a pessimist but a realist and this world is going down as it is being told in the bible. Please turn to Jesus and he will Lead you and love you like no other! He's waiting for you.

carlossilva: The name Nabal means Madness. The wisdom of God is foolishness to the wise men of the world, the preaching of the cross is foolishness. At that time, in that patriarchal system, letting a woman run all her possessions, servants, etc. seemed crazy, but whoever is led by God does not see his neighbor as a tree, which is only interested in its shadow and in its fruits, but it knows that before the foundation of the world, God had dreamed of each one of us, and whom God loves since before the foundation of the world, we should care and respect and not treat in any way. This goes from a pauper to a high-ranking person. Nor should we respect the proud. David is so shaken that he has lost Michal and at the same time with an overconfidence that has generated this pride. Nabal was brave, he was from the tribe of Caleb. Abigail was obsessed with power and wanted to be queen. Lost everything. From a person who was released and arrested, he became just one more in David's harem. Nothing else has been heard from her

For clarification this is not my choice and its a piece of work I need to do to add a comment. I personally believe that both sexism and feminism are basically the same thing, except sexism is usually directed towards woman by men, and feminism the same thing just towards men by women. They're both as bad as each other and I like many others wish that we could all be equal but that will never be possible due to sexism and feminism. But if you want to believe God is real and believe that he/she/it is a certain gender or racial profile that is 100% fine. Just don't start a verbal war over it. This was not my choice and feel free not to reply

@Julia A I'm a man of Faith. I take the bible as Gods written word. Is the snake of the garden symbolism or an actual creature? I believe it's a combination of both. It's clearly a very accurate representation of selfish human nature. Sadly every human being, myself included has this character flaw. Some recognize that flaw for what it is and attempt to avoid it. Others willfully embrace it. As evidence by modern men and women as well. Now to the main thrust of your question, Do I believe snakes talk? Any animal can talk if God desires it. 😊 I have never seen it happen for myself. That said, will I tell God he cannot, as one of His creations, No I certainly wont. Hope that answers you question. Have a great day.😊
