My Son and I love to watch your videos before bedtime. We love to see when you find treasures or trash, because most of the time we do not find much either. It's a nice dose of reality to see fellow treasure seekers come up empty handed. It's really about the anticipation of finding something and having fun doing it. We love to just get out and explore; however, finding a relic or treasure is always nice. We love your personality and how if feels like we are on the hunt with you! Keep the videos coming! Thank you!

I think I like your channel more than any other metal detecting channel is because you focus more on the hunt rather than showing "awesome relics". Its more interesting and informative to see how you do things than just watching someone dig something "cool" out of the ground. Plus you don't get all crazy when you find something good...which is different than the other channels. So yes, please post videos whether you find stuff or not. Thanks.

The best thing about watching your videos is the fact that not every hunt results in treasure. Your enthusiasm is always worth the viewing. I dont have anything where i live that would result in good finds. There are too many clubs that have either pissed off the home owners or they have exclusive agreements with them. Ugh yes please keep it real! I appreciate that.

I like it even when you only find fishing lures or random things people lose. Thanks

Sure you didn't find any pirate gold or civil war canons, but one reason I watch you is because you teach us! You had said in one video that old houses/places usually had yucca plants and they still grow in those areas. I was in an old cemetery and had to chuckle. There were yucca plants growing on the perimeter. The same with dump areas. When I start coming across bricks in a river, I have you to thank that I know I've stumbled over a dump area. People can always fast forward past the video parts that don't interest them. Thank you for educating us newbies!

I am a Gemologist and I go gem hunting in Southern Calif and Arizona using Gem Trails of Southern California and Gem Trails of Arizona and I always have fun even if I don't find much here or there because it can be hit and miss that is expected. I find that after a heavy rain some areas can give more stones than the last time and gems can be found in concentrations in washes like on Whipple Mountain. I do learn a lot from you even when you don't find much because you explain what the "beeps" mean on your machines and I love the thrill of the hunt too so keep on keepin on.

Since I cannot metal detect here nor do I have a detector, I can only speak to why I actually watch your video's. I used to live in Oregon and now live in Hawaii. Just to see you walk in the woods, stand in a stream, and smile and laugh as you talk to us through your camera, simply makes my day and helps me not be so homesick for my life back home. There are no woods full of squirrels, foxes, or bears here. There is never the smell of fir bows on the breeze, nor even that of a skunk. Where I live there is no dirt, just cinder, and you might think so what?! Well if you were raised on a farm in the country, where you always had a big garden and canned you own food, you might think living on a cinder pile something not to envy. While I do enjoy my life here and the weather is mostly lovely, there are days I get so homesick for just the ability to kick at leaves under the tree's, and smell the great smell a dry wheat-field makes just after a rain, that if it weren't for your video's I think I should sit in corner and weep. You would better understand just what your video's mean to me, out here in the middle of the ocean far away from family and old friends, where the thing I sometimes crave the most is to just stick my hands in the dirt, if you woke up one day and were not able to do so and might never ever get to again. I love your video's even if you don't find a single treasure. Besides aren't they about you just out adventuring?! Not every adventure is a civil war relic, sometimes it's a hole in the ground that turns out to be a magnificent cave, others it's a new kind of bottle you found digging in the glorious dirt. Sometimes it's your grizzled unshaven mug just telling us to hold our breath, or it's a brisk walk through a snow covered woodland with your wife and getting to see you go home to your silly cats. It makes us smile and forget our troubles or think less of what ails us. Knowing you are out there having a good time searching and wondering what you might experience next, is something I look forward to every day. I know it takes a lot of work to make your video's and I thank you a million times over for letting us be a part of your life. I may live in, "Paradise", but you live the life of adventure.
