Thank you very much to both of your contributors for continuing the dissection of Biden’s cabinet picks and observations about who really “owns” US politics (well, and the “politics” of the UK, too). Many thanks.

Courts only address corruption where a person takes bribes as an official or appointee. The "revolving door" in DC could be seen as post-dated quid pro quo, but it would be difficult to prove that in any case. Who has the skills to be Secretary of the Treasury but isn't going to work for a bank later? An academic who isn't going to work for a bank later would be more credible.

The standard going forward needs to be: If you can eat or drink a product such as oil, gasoline, diesel, basically all crude oil derivatives, and it does not harm you or All Of Our air, water, climate, and sustainable future, then we are cool with it. If not, alternatives are required as soon as possible. The Status quo has led us here. Alternatives are the only way out.

I totally agree something must be done for climate crisis. But let's be clear, Kate Aronoff said , "considering we have a giant climate crisis" . She is a NYC resident. NYC is one of the most behind cities in the world, when it comes to climate fixers. An antiquated subway that spews diesel fumes. The transit system is still 90 percent fuel burning. No taxes/ Uber s are electric. The commercial trucking is barbarian, no regulations for none burning fuel. The ferry transit, tour boating is barbarian. The air is cancerous to breath, the noise pollution is beyond what human's can handle. I can go on and on. I think before you try and change the world, start in NYC and see what you get done. You talking the good talk. But get your mayor your State to clean your home base first. Yes the federal government can do there part. The Democrat's don't care if they control anything. Like the Dems said, if it were the choice to vote Bernie. They would rather trump. If you don't knowno by now the Dems are republicans in Dems clothing. Loving that they believe there Liberal.

And please, please, please, dear ptogressives, spend more time on the issues and less on internal divisions within the Dem party. It,'s almost a secular tradition for Dems to bite each other's back and struggling for internal power. It took me a while to put the liking finger on the right spot, in relation to progressive, radical, and snow flake mentality. I had to, as I have seen them be nuisance for no reason, as they keep getting continually accused, and that bothered me a lot, as accusations are not facts, and facts unfortunately for some very known reasons, cannot be used as accusations. Very odd indead. I am not going to point out who is right, right if, and when achieved will be the judge of that. What I will do is, point a few observations. The first one is. At any given time, the republican party seems to ingeniously have managed to be two parties, one theirs and two the democratic one. Very very odd. Clever? I don't know. Ugly? Indefinitely. Fortunately because of some great man and woman, in the democratic side this has, and more importantly cannot be the case anymore. If yes, you will see some really bad blow job effects from such actions. Two. I have seen a very good leader present himself in all the seriosity of the moment, in front of the opposition with olive trees in his hands and words. To be greeted by the most blatant sign of, (is not about what you offer, but about what we want, with us buddy.) That was preformed in the most subtle method there is out there yet the most efficient. Eating. Eating? Yes eating. He was gallantly talking as to what we could do if we worked together, and all I could hear very distinctively was the sound of the gallant forks and spoons digging away at the food they were eating, and he was not. At that sight, alarm bells of the type of Chernobyl should have gone off, and no word should have been even uttered until a plate of the same size if not better, in front. Three. A similar great knight offerd the cautious optimistic doubt, as an advice for a what in politics is probably, if not should be called a sure thing. (That is kill a big coock trapped in a chicken pen) obviously bearing in mind all the things that could go wrong in such a mission. Fourth. The republican party seem to have perfected being progressive, and radical without anyone being able to make it stick on them. By two very simple techniques. One (It was not me.) And two at harvest time, (everyone chop chop, there is no time to lose.) This is achieved by a very simple fact, that of being an American political party. The progressives on the left do the same, but way earlier than all, because is the right thing to do. For that they get, the village idiot compliment. Let's take Medicare for all. If the republican party was arguing for it they would do a very simple move, get into position to do it and do it. Not, what if science, but, if science. One is science, one is alchemy. Not that they do not use the alchemy to hold the harvest from being preformed even at the risk of rot, only, and only when, all the collection points are covered by them. That seems to be the same with all the (human rights ideas.) The question is not (how) for somthing that is needed by all, the question should be (is it the right thing to do.) In that, right there you find out if your country is a great for all, or just a few. The republicans know this fact exremly well. Their formula is (If needed, and if in America, equals money and a way to do it.) The progressives on the left say the same thing, yet they are called the communist/radical Bernie, Alexandra, etc etc. Very very odd, because the formula is the same. (If needed by all, and if in America, equals money and a way to do it.) Last example. Nancy by far not a progressive, (but I know she is, same as Hillary, they just need and have needed, all to be on the same boat and move forward.) Example. A pandemic forces a leader to be confronted with an, (if we needed and if in America, equals money and a way to do it.) But because the republicans, while eating, messed up the having the collectors in the right places, now she is accused as a progressive radical. With Hillary easy, the dehville, lock her up, and all the trimmings. Stop doing alchemy. If, is and has been enough of a problem, for some clever sods to go and say "Let's put the word what in front of if," By that method you have already lost, even though you will look, find, and prove with facts that what you did was right. Alchemy has that attribute, is magic, fascistic magic, and everyone is on it, while categorically denying all of it. (Particle physics is one of the fields where wizards are being breed at the speed of light.) The worst that I cannot stand is, this has given material to whores for the noble purpose of making money, to make fun at what is right, and just, what they do themselves, like, vote, be a woman, man, smoke pot, brake the law, sing the ( on the wild side) and on and on. That is an unnecessary golden shower given by the very people you are fighting for to the people fighting for. What do progressives have in their hand? People, equals, votes, equals, people at the tables equals, blow job effect if ignored, equals the most intriguing scene I would like to see, when the Ruzvelt project will kick in, in defence of republicans. Now that would be something. One last thing. The progressives, have one last thing left to do, as no one wants to do it( do the dirty jobs), fight for the unity that was never achieved, with all, by all. If progressives have to drag people along to do the job, it's a must. If not? If not, you can see a patern developing. Get to plate. Small? Small. Small, small makes biggie smalls. Every election, every seat, every step. If needed and in America, equals money and a way to do it. Everyone is an allie, you will find a lot of businesses that are progressive, or want to be.

Progressives need to see the objectives, and stop whining about the positions. You need to get reasonable people in place in the positions, past the Senate. Meanwhile , you need to continue to man the Senate and House positions, the activist positions, with existing peoples who know how to do that work. Progressivism is not about some kind of Orpheus C. Kerr activity. It's about objectives. Acting like you deserve something is no better than the degenerate position wannabes who are politically worthless, like Hillary Clinton, or your typical Seattle Revolutionary Communist Party Alpha.
