Also it should be noted that in floor 2 all the new entities/dangers are just regular animals (giggles, grumbles, moth bats…) or hazards (firedamps which is just a gas leak and drowning in water), everything paranormal comes from floor 1. This and the fact that seek came from above when we were in floor 2 makes me think the entities come from the hotel rather than simply being there Also mischievous light (which isn’t a name confirmed by anything in game/devs) is probably a galaxy which fits with the cosmic theme of moons and stars. It makes sense since the modifier symbol ressembles a spiral galaxy and it’s a LOT bigger than stars/moons (which fits in as its theorised it’s more powerful than the lights)

Guiding light as said in the video is the crown on the kings head guiding him and showing him the right path (like In game) curious light is the kings wings, trying to help and is most effective when given directions/commands (like in game, not knowing what to call the entities and only giving you suggestions for they're name, and telling you to not give up and kinda helping you get informed on the entities) mischievous light is the kings sword, while killing things, it is for a just reason and for a great cause (just like In game, he provides more ways for you to die but awards more knobs like a fair and just reason)

as the message in the crucifix reads, “one of the three architects marked by celestials assists you” it means that guiding light was marked by some celestial beings to help us. and the 2 other architects are unknown for now. so i think guiding light assists us, curious light is in the middle, (like neutral) and the red light is probably trying to stop us. which makes sense why entities like figure and seek cannot be crucified. the one hole in this though, is that if the red light had a clear goal of destroying the player, they would’ve easily done it already. since they are very powerful, and are able to modify & change floors however they want. so the red light probably doesn’t have a straight goal than just killing the player, but rather some other goal. i wonder which…

We know 1 other architect, it's Curious Light. Also maybe the end goal of Mischevious Light (fan name) is to escape? This is just a theory, but maybe there set on destruction so Guiding Light and Curious Light sealed him inside the castle (we see that the Lights can't open doors as Curious Light was stuck in the rooms). So Mishevious light tried to use the King to get out of the castle but when Curious Light found out they put the King in Limbo and added the entitys to prevent others from helping him. As Guiding Light liked the King they trapped Curious Light in the Rooms and brought you to save them. However there are only 3 entitys in the game that can survive the crucifix, Figure Seek and Grumble, Grumble is HUGE and a natural being, however I think Figure and Seek are controlled by Mischevious Light which is more powerful than the others, explaining why they survive it. This is further backed up by the fact that in the Seek chase everything glows red. What two beings have been forcing you deeper and deeper? Figure and Seek. Guiding Light has brought you in to save the king, but Mischevious Light is using this opportunity to force you to save him, which is why he won't just straight up kill you. As for why Curious Light won't kill you, they were trapped in the Rooms until you saved them, and afterwards they were nice to you, so they don't want to trap you now. However now Guiding Light is attempting to help you get out as they dragged you into this. This is a very large stretch but I feel it could work.

@@RaidFiftyOne we do know curious light, but we know very little about them. about the red light, we know that they’re present in the hotel & the mines, because of modifiers. but they just don’t show up or interact with the player, unlike guiding light. and also since the april fools (2023 & 2024) achievements have red color on them, and literally no other achievement has red in it. and these april fools versions, are just modifications of the hotel, which is why they’re available as modifiers. (i do know lsplash said the april fools versions aren’t canon, but he never said their achievements can’t be.) the devs also stated seek uses a humanoid form to chase us because it likes to play with its food, and has no real form. and seek also emits red light, and everything in the chase has a red tint, even the player’s camera is a bit red. so that might mean the third light is HELPING seek in both the hotel & the mines to chase us & shape things in a form for a chase. and one last thing, the fact that our character can respawn is canon to lore, since guiding light, curious light, and even el goblino (probably someone else i forgot) mention it. so maybe that’s why the red light doesn’t wanna directly try to kill us, because they know we will come back over & over. or maybe the red light can’t just outright shape the floor into something so we die. maybe they have to try to put obstacles. this is very confusing, but this is all i’ve thought of for now.

Hi, just wanted to say that the modifiers symbol represents the mischevious light. This is proven by the same painting you mention in this video (where you see the curious light symbol), where there is a tiny blue light and a tiny red light in the top right an bottom left corners. If you zoom in on this painting, you can see the blue light is a crescent moon and the red light is the modifiers symbol. We also see when activating modifiers that some areas, such as the rooms, are blocked by a red light. Anyway, really cool theory. Have a wonderful day!

"Celestial" also means something that is in the sky, so my theory is that the three lights were the three architects that built the hotel and the rooms, and they somewhy recieved a mark given by gods of each astro, the god represented by the moon, the other represented by the star and the other one represented as the modifiers symbol, which might have given more power to mischievous light as it can control the other too lights and even the way the whole map and entities behave

I think we should also pay mind to the names of the different lights: Guiding Light is there to help you through the Hotel and Mines, to break the King free from his Limbo, represented by the eyes on the statue. Curious Light, now no longer under the King's foot, wants to explore and learn as much as possible until the King is brought back, both about The Rooms and The Backdoor (the reason it's not in The Hotel or The Mines is because I believe that CL is the oldest light, having explored both of those places with the King, and also being the biggest in the portrait) and it's represented by the wings, a universal sign of freedom and exploration. Mischevous Light I think doesn't want the King to come back, however, it's in a way a subordonate of Seek perhaps (hence why it's able to stop Guiding Light from closing doors during the Seek chases, and why it's able to close off the A-000 door with modifiers, because The Hotel has been altered, *modified*, and GL doesn't hold that much power anymore) and it's represented by the sword, because it's desceptive. Mischievous. The sword is a Symbol of heroism and bravery, but the sword is ultimately still a weapon that can kill anybody, no matter if they're good or bad. And I think that's exactly what ML is. It decieves the player by giving them rewards for modifiers, while also enabling Seek and supressing Guiding Light, to make sure The King stays dead, having been one of Seek's minions all along

Tbh I think that the hotel and basically the whole doors universe is actually a prison for all the entities, with the king having built the prison in limbo and making guiding light in order to supervise the entities and then he tried to make 2 other guiding lights but it ended up failing somehow which made curious and mischievous light. And I think that the hotel was mainly designed to contain seek but because we interfered we ended up releasing seek.

what if guiding light is evil? in the seek chase when you fall into the minecart he pushes the minecart to save you but why doesn’t he turn the minecart the right way so you don’t die? My point is guiding light is helping us but he isn’t helping us as much as he can. Another example of this is in door 50 where he pushes a lamp to distract figure. 1) Doors isn't going to be in religious direction but it's still inspired by the religion especially Christian, so I have some theories, it's a bit long but I promise you this is interesting... I hope this make sense... "One of the three architects sent by celestials assists you" is referring to Guiding Light since he's the only one out of the three lights/architects that help us Celestials represents God/Goddess, the creator of the universe from heaven Architects represents angels, the lights are the architects therefore they're angels who sent by the Goddess (the celestials) It also make sense the lights are called the architects, because they're must be the one who build the building, the mischievous light most likely build the entities Not only that, they can also build humans behavior to become bad or to become good (like angels and the d#e#v#i#l)

Gabriel, Michael, and Lucifer are the type of angels called "archangels" the most beautiful angel or have the most higher status above all angels, archangels are similar to human but with wings and sword. The statue of in courtyard at the floor 1 is an archangel with a ophanim (lower class angel type) crown in his head, it must be a guiding light statue.
