I'm actually SO suprised that I LOVE this perfume. Because it isn't mature and that's what I usually go for. I LOVE the La Vie Est Belle, the original Channel No. 5 and things like the original Guerlain perfume. For some reason mature scents make me think of a strong, sophisticated, classy woman. Whereas fruity scents like Juicy Couture and Escada perfumes make me think of teenagers, immature, childish, etc. I do like those types of scents on other people, but I prefer the old Grandma scents 😂😂 That's why I was shocked to love Lancome Idole SO much. Have you tried the new YSL Libre yet? I would LOVE to hear your thoughs on it. Also, thank you for your GREAT review on this perfume 😘

i_bleed_ makeup I love the Chanel perfumes except for No. 5 but I’m just now getting into fragrance since working at Macy’s so maybe my taste will elevate as I keep learning. I think the new YSL Libre is super sexy and it’s perfect for everyone in my opinion whether you prefer mature or less mature scents. It’s definitely something I would only wear if I was going out at night. I stick to La Vie or Idôle for the day. I’m so happy you loved my review 😘

P J Freeman well I believe what she means is more sophisticated scents that aren’t marketed towards a younger demographic are the scents such as Chanel no. 5 or the Ysl black opium

Nicole Summer La vie est belle can be a bit overwhelming for some so I think Lancôme is doing a great job as far as fragrances goes getting the perfect fragrance for every type of woman. I believe Lancôme has something for everyone

Yess they’re doing a great job. I just keep smelling La Vie est belle on older women lately and it’s so overpowering in a room. So now I associate it as a mature fragrance. Nothing wrong with mature but it’s just too much sometimes. Idole is the perfect balance for me. 🥰👍🏻

Have you sprayed the idole before making this video. Is not filled all the way to the top. But how can you refill it is it free refill at macys?

Actually I didn’t but this a free one from work I received so it could be different from the sellable ones. I don’t work for the company anymore so I don’t have the total answer. The refill is about 25% less than the price your bought the bottle for. Hope this helps!

It depends on the size but it is about a 20-30% discount for the refill

It’s 3.3-3.4 oz. how do you find out who does it? Would it be in a department store? Or do they have free standing stores? Not that I need it any time soon but I guess I’ll know for the future.

@@kristinapetronio4331 I work for Macy's and my store that I have transferred to since this video doesn't have it. My best advice would be to call the department store which you frequent beforehand and ask for the Lancome counter and I'm sure they will let you know if they have an Idole refill station. Hope this helps!

Andrea Coleman that’s awesome! I wish it did for me because the smell is so amazing. I wore it yesterday and sometimes I just can’t smell it or it doesn’t last as long as La Vie or even the new La Vie est Belle Intensement. Thank you for sharing your love for the fragrance. Lancome did an amazing job with it!

I’m going to be honest with you. I got bright crystal as a gift when I was in like high school and I feel like I was a little naive and knew nothing about fragrances back then and never gave it a chance since then. Now that I’m a little more knowledgeable, I will definitely probably have completely different thoughts. I will have to go back and revisit!!
