Just recieved this as a gift and was nervous because I HATE rose scents. But this is so different and smells so classy not old ladyish in the slightest. The smell changes soo much and lasted for ages!

To me, this smells like a Spring day: so fresh, floral and feminine. I had strayed away from floral fragrances in the last few years, favoring more sweet and oriental ones, like BR 540 or Armani Si, for example. However, smelling this was like a breath of fresh air, and called to mind my younger, Estee Lauder Pleasures days 🌹

We do I checked it Out with some other perfumes and it’s definitely less perfume for a big price I live on disability and I have to save all year sometimes two years for one bottle which is quite upsetting when I see people getting it for free so I don’t know if I’ll buy this again I don’t care if people give me hate about it I think it really sucks that a lot of people get the stuff for free and we have to pay for it I am getting tired of that does smell nice I love roses but yeah that’s just my own opinion and you’re getting less for the money

I love this. Probably the only "mature" scent I like. I mean it doesn't smell old, it's very youthful, but floral makes me think of grown women so for me to like a perfume that comes off as totally floral is rare for me. I usually like fresh, citrus, fruity, or vanilla, and Idole is so different from that.

I love this fragrance. For years I quit wearing fragrances because the old classics began to smell different to me (cheaper essences?), and the newer fragrances all had a harsh chemical smell. I'm a senior, so I've worn different scents over the years. Diorissimo was my favorite in its original formula. I find Idôle to be a sparkling, light floral that lasts through most of the day. It has a sophisticated freshness that suits my casual lifestyle. No problems so far with sinus irritations or headaches. A year ago I bought Beautiful Belle by Estée Lauder, and its scent is similar to Idôle but heavier. I much prefer Idôle to it.

A lot of people talk about how it’s the same as other perfumes. But as people no one is the same , same as perfumes. This is amazing and I’m in love. It’s simple fresh and something you never can go wrong with. I fell in love with the sample. It wasn’t harsh and super long lasting. I worked a 11 hour sweaty server shift and it lasted that long. Amazing

Went to Macy's and sprayed it on me to see if it agrees. Top notes aren't bad. I got the jasmine, then rose and little bit of pear. But after 3 hours, im getting vanilla! Anybody else? Actually, not bad at all! Like it

Tried this at Macy's today, it was lovely! It came in a holographic plastic box and it made me want to get it! It was a lovely sweet rose fragrance that dries down super sour and tart which is lovely for the spring

Last year I thought it's too generic, but now I am pleasantly surprised. It's a perfect spring/summer fragrance. Bright and green rose oil. Fresh but in the same time I feel creaminess. Strong like for me.

Beautiful fragrance. You gave us a beautiful review of lancome Idole. But I wish that Lancome would have added a base to set the bottle in so it could be seen on a dresser. Nobody has room to lay a bottle flat and run the risk of leakage on the furniture. Creators try to be so different when creating something without actually thinking about the end results. Add a base to stand the bottle upright please

As always great review! I received an IDOLE sample from Lancome, and I love it. I mean, it isn't the kind of perfume I usually wear, but it just caught me, because as you said, it makes me feel feminine. And I think sometimes we need to feel like that, and a perfume has to be synchronized on our mood. Unfortunately in Mexico the brand hasn't brought Idole Intense yet.

Purchased this perfume a few days ago. I love the packaging. When I initially sprayed it , I thought OMG - this isn’t what I sampled! But as moments passed on, the scent developed into this amazing scent. I find that it also has staying power. And a little goes a long way in terms of perfume endurance. I like it, I like it a lot and am thinking of adding it to my list of “favorites to repurchase”. P/s - great video 👍🏽.

Interesting perfume. I read somewhere that the bottle is supposed to lay flat like a cell phone would. I'll try it when it hits the counters, but I don't really like the LVEB range, so I don't know 🤷‍♀️. Thanks for the review!

Thank you for your review. I’ve not seen many reviews on this perfume! I was given a mini sample of Idole recently (6/2020). I immediately loved it however I’ve not purchased it because it doesn’t last long on me. I didn’t notice it after a couple of hours. I love it so much however that I will give it another try. It smells very different and I’d say it doesn’t smell at all like Le Vie Est Belle nor does it smell like any of its flankers. It’s just beautiful. I want it to last! The bottle though beautiful in the display is ridiculous. If it doesn’t come with a base what is the point? I guess it will fit well in a drawer.🙄 I don’t have room on my perfume tray for a huge bottle that must lie down or else it will constantly crash down on the other bottles and risk breakage or leakage(?). If it should leak, not only would I lose my expensive perfume but ruin the finish on my furniture. I just don’t get it but I guess they were trying to be different but at the expense of practicality.

I don't like the fact they are marketing this as eco-friendly because you can refill it, but they sell cases for the bottle made of plastic, and is not even included. They just wanna sell this to the Zendaya millenial fans. The perfume is good, just good.

I really didn't like it, but the bottle is gorgeous! On first sniff it reminds me of Miracle but more soapy and with a ton of rose. I instantly got a headache from it, but I pushed through, hoping to love it on the dry down and it didn't happen. I didn't feel like the notes meshed well together either. Lancome's marketing campaign seems to really be pushing the caramel popcorn note as something unique they've done (as though we don't remember the beloved Miss Dior Cherie!), but I didn't detect caramel corn at all. I think I'm handing this one off to my daughter.

Took my daughter for her birthday to Chicago this weekend. Happened to be roaming around Nordstrom's perfume section. I myself do not like perfume more of a Jovan white musk girl LOL. But I wanted to smell what was in this cute slim bottle. Immediately loved it. Did not want to purchase anything, because it was not my day. But within five minutes of this perfume on my skin. I turned right around and purchased this bottle of perfume. Everything this young lady has spoke about in this video is 100% correct. Im from Belgium and I really like your reviews 😊. I received a sample of idole a couple of months ago. On my skin I smell the jasmine and vanilla in the drydown. It has a very strong opening. Then it becomes soft and creamy on me. Very warm and cosy like a blanket 😊. I love this perfume a lot 💗.

i like the bottle, i smell it, i have it on paper, but it lacks any caracther in my opinion, but is nice, casual, or to go to work, is lovely, yet just very normal.

Beautiful fragrance. However, the spray mechanism on mine is faulty so I have a half bottle I cannot use. Have informed Lancôme but no response to date.

I tested IDOLE in a store, it is very longlasting, I am not a friend of lancome fragrences, because they all smell like soap to me... and very similar. but IDOLE is my favorite of lancome...

Good review! I own the 30ml size of Idole, and enjoy it, but oh my god if I'd known how Lancome marketed this I would have taken a pass. Lancome, please stop using the concept of "feminism" and "empowerment" to peddle your fucking perfume. It's insulting. My perfume has nothing to do with my feminism. Also, as someone else already pointed out, a perfume bottle that's too slim to stand up is LAUGHABLY bad optics if you're going to push the "female empowerment" angle with your marketing. 😒

Thank you for the video. As for me, I found Idôle... average. I mean, it's nice and, for sure, a lot of people will like it, but there are so many perfumes in that olfactory direction, than Idôle becomes "one of...". 🤷 Bright chord of pear, bergamot and rose finishing with soft musk.
