Just for those who may not know, the maintenance at 20 hours is just for the initial check. After the first one it goes to 100 hours rather than 20. I love my 2017 deluxe, but my only two dislikes were that the engine could use just another 2 or 3 horses, and the reverse switch when plowing was a huge pain in the ass. Nice to see them address both main issues.

Hi, I just purchased one and we are nearing the first service for 100 miles and/or 20 hours. Do you recommend taking back to the dealership or if you know how to change the oil and check the oil filters, doing it yourself
@alexmaclean14 жыл бұрын
@@aliciasimmons2823 if you are proficient, you can certainly do it at home. It's an oil and filter change and the big thing is the initial valve clearance check which isn't hard but takes a little bit. To be honest, I don't believe my dealer actually did the valve check as they brought it back to my truck within 45 of taking it into the shop. Generally the valves will be fine and unless it is hard to start when warm, it's likely they are within spec. They charged me 159 for this service, but every service since I've done myself. Costs me 30 bucks for a couple liters of synthetic and a k&n replacement filter.
