I agree about the Rubicon being the best balance. It's not a racing quad, so it tops out just under 50mph, more power than you'll need to get the job done, but no so overpowered it rips itself apart over time. Has everything you need, but not over-engineered or gimmicky. Super comfortable and smooth, easy to work on, and parts are easy to source. I got a 2022 after watching your vids, and I have never regretted it. Thanks, for the ongoing reviews! I'm sure they are helping people make the right choice if they want utility, comfort, and reliability.

A single cylinder will always outlast a twin, less moving parts. I have a 2007 Polaris 500 with 7000miles on it and zero problems. When I look around at older machines that are for sale there are almost no 800 or 1000cc ATV's available, probably because they were blown up.

I'll be dead honest I love hondas I had a 3 wheeler for some time and it was awesome. I can only conplain about power and top speed on hondas but or else, I would love to have a honda quad some day. Now all they have to do is redesign and make a DCT Rincon and i'm taking in consideration. Also thanks for the mention. I love my 08 Grizzly practically more than anything else and have some content on it too. I know I also get defensive on Suzuki but my 700 has had its issues. I had a Honda 250 Big Red 3 wheeler back in my late twenties, and it was so dependable it’s unreal , you could not kill that thing , in fact my cousin still has it today and it’s running strong ! I’m 60 now , and that’s the last time I even sat on an ATV , I’ve been looking at the Rancher , Foreman and kinda thinking about splurging on the Rubicon . I’m just going to be deer hunting and light to moderate trail riding , I’m kinda set on a manual shift with EPS ( I’ve heard good and bad things about the electric shift DCT ) . What are your thoughts or experiences with a solid axle machine like the Fourtrax Foreman ? I have somewhat ruled out the Rancher and just can’t decide if I really need a Rubicon with the independent suspension for the extra money . I just know I want a Honda .

@JacobOvermanАй бұрын
If you’re not going to ride in water all the time than there is no reason not to get a DCT with power steering. I don’t think they offer a rubicon with no power steering. Definitely get the rubicon for a smoother ride. However keep in mind that the foreman wheelies easier and feels a lot more sporty. Also keep in mind that the rubicon has unlimited options for ground clearance and a foreman can only change with tires and portals. Rubicon also comes with heavier duty bumper and a more comfortable seat.

I bought a 2024 Rubicon Deluxe October 2023. I am not impressed with the Auto DCT. Its shifts like shit while in auto. I am 2 hours away from the 20 hour service and if I could go back, I would probably buy Yamaha. I grew up riding a 2004 Honda Rancher Auto/ESP and it shifted smooth as butter. My 2024 Rubicon shifts like a manual and I can’t stand it. Maybe it will break in with age, but shouldn’t be that way.

I bought a 2024 520 Rubicon Delux and a 2024 420 Rancher in December of 2023. I agree that the shifting is rough right now but I was told by multiple Honda mechanics that it will most certainly smooth out over time and once the ATVs are fully broken in. Hope this helps! The DCT doesn't smooth out. I was told to run synthetic oil and it might help. Mine has 4000 miles on it and the tranny has to warm up to shift decent. In auto and pushing it, it doesn't know whether to shit or go. My son just bought a new Outlander 700. I think that's my next ride.

The 2024 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 are completely redesigned. My nephew has 800+ miles on his, and they're hard 18 year old riding miles. LOL I own a bunch of older ATV's! 5 QuadZilla's, couple Ranchers, and few American made Polaris'. I like the American/Japanese machines. Not into the Chinese or Mexican crap! Have a fleet of Mules for various properties. Never had an issue with any of these machines. Other than rebuilding the two-strokes, that's commonplace. If I was in the market for a bigger ATV. I'd buy the Kawasaki or Suzuki over the Yamaha. They're partnering with KTM, with Chinese and Mexican parts.......
