If you look at 13:10 , there is a noticeable difference in shade that shows how far Kirby is filled with water. That proves that Kirby is translucent. So the inside of Kirby wouldn't be black, but just a darker shade of pink.

Personally, I'm glad that I'm mentally prepared for it when I play the game, cause I don't know how I would feel playing the rest of the game after discovering it on my own. You know what I hate about this new mechanic? That sometimes it doesn't make sense. There's one ability that turns Kirby into a glider. A GLIDER, WHY, KIRBY CAN ALREADY FLY. There's also one that turns Kirby into some kind of ladder to reach higher places... When you know, Kirby can fly. Why would he go and go for the pain of having a entire glider in his mouth when he can already fly??? Same with the car, he already has a power to turn into a wheel.

It allowed him to inhale incredibly large objects and eat them, as it turned his stomach into a black hole, whereas this is just kirby attempting to eat something but cant as his stomach cant swallow it

I enjoyed this mechanic because it seems like a legitimate side grade for kirby and his copy abilities. It seems like an interesting new twist on a familiar idea of kirby inhaling things. It's really cool
