When I saw an article about Arthropleura's head I just about screamed! Arthropleura is my favorite extinct arthropod, ever since I was a kid and saw its inclusion in Prehistoric Park, and one of my favorite animals from the entire Paleozoic. It never gets old to describe it to people who have never heard of it. Glad to know that, yes indeed, it would not have tried to eat Nigel Marvin.

IKR!? So interesting….I still remember when I first heard about it back in the day it was said to be like 10-12 feet long oss but it was constantly being given all different size estimates aswell! I mean like seriously…it seemed like every time it was included on a show or doc it was given a wildly different size but no matter what out of all the giant arthropods from the Carboniferous, I have always found it the most fascinating one

The funny thing with Arthropleura is everyone wants to portray it as a giant scary bug, but in actuality it was probably incredibly docile given a fully grown Arthropleura likely had no natural predators.

@SmashBrosAssemble it still makes sense for it to be able to defend itself and not be completely docile, though. The giant amphibians at the time could've tried to feed on it. Even if it was powerful enough to deter them most of the time, it could only do that if it could bite back. Tough armor can only get you so far. Many large sauropods had no natural predators yet they weren't incredibly docile. Walking With Monsters maybe outdated but it's portrayal of a competent herbivorous arthropleura still makes some sense.

Good call. Social media is terrible for mental health. I think something like 35 percent of 16-24 year olds in the UK are not in education nor employed, and a significant amount of those are because of mental health. Social media has destroyed the development of human brains, the younger generation have a noticeable IQ drop.

As this channel is now done, I have some supremely important questions: 1. Why does Ben always have so rosy cheeks and doesn't seen to age (kinda like Smash Brothers series maker Masahiro) ? 2. Are parts of the cast family members or close friend. I swear I once saw his mom (nothing negative, I like family+friends working together). 3. Shouldn't it be "Seven Days of Science" ("SDoS"). I'm just German but my English teacher at gymnasium type school was a Welsh man, who had married a German woman, and who taught us you write it put until (and including) twelve. He also tried to baffle us with Welsh like pronouncing the infamous trainstation twice in a row and generally telling us about his home and the importance of sheep.

In formal writing (business, science, law, etc) there are various rules on how far to write out the word rather than the numeral. But in informal writing (much of social media, writing to a friend, etc), as well as in titles, logos and other branded/stylized things using numerals is quite common and accepted (though you can still write them out if you want of course)
