The NEW Magic Knight Rayearth News Is MASSIVE!

Just finding your channel because I was searching for other people excited about this announcement! As far as other merch goes, the only recent merchandise they've released (alongside the anniversary hardback manga editions you mentioned) was a JP only bluray release with new cover art of the anime and some Japanese event only merch for the 25th anniversary - makeup collaborations, some new keychains, and stationary sets. But this is so so huge and I'm so excited. I hope it brings a wave of new fans as I've been trying to get folks into reading it for the last 25+ years. TV syndication in here in the US really did propel Sailor Moon and CCS into the spotlight for all of history. I wish MKR had gotten the same treatment (Toonami was apparently trying to pick up several series, including Slayers, MKR, Lodoss Wars, and a handful of others that fell through for whatever reasons). When this trailer released the other night, I had about 8 people send it to me within 10 minutes of each other because they Know TM me and I legit cried when the music and new art kicked in. I never thought in a million years CLAMP and animation studios would ever want to return to this series. I'm glad there are others that still love this series as much as I do. I'm hoping with Hikaru's hair in the new promo art being manga-color, that it'll be a more manga faithful adaptation. Good luck revisiting (and watching for the first time) season 2 and preparation for the new anime project!

Clamp has their exhibits in Japan and Artbook for all their works. Michael hasn’t seen Season 2 of Magic Knights Rayearth? I really hope they do it well. I’m excited.
