Future and alternate storeis I think are reserved for C+, but. I've never been hyped so much for any of the expansios, like I am for C+ - SoD makes the waiting a little bit more bearable :)

Based on that picture, it looks like the hammer will only be used inside the dungeon, since that is specified at the top. Edit: Even reading the flavor text, it even seems more likely that it will only be in the dungeon.

Shadowhold feels like a dungeon a great place, this winterspring one being behind the alliance base is a lame, but Caverns of Time opening means we should expect a new dungeon there each phase and that is exciting. What these dungeons will bring to the game is still a mystery but I’m excited.

Hey doof, Shadow Hold has nothing to do with an alternate or past timeline. It's literally the Shadow Council's base of operations on Azeroth in Felwood during the Classic period in time. Research much? Like, I mean, that's a HUGE jump to assume that Shadow Hold and Starfall Barrow Den, (also an in-game location in the Classic era that was apparently abandoned during the *specific* *time* we came across it questing) are Timewalker dungeons just because Andorhal was datamined with them. It's very possible we didn't eliminate the entire Shadow Council while questing in Felwood. Actually, we know we didn't because Cho'gall led it in Classic and he was still active up until Cataclysm when we finally ended him. As far as the SBD goes, well, as mentioned it was abandoned during our questing phase - but that's not to say renegade or remnant Nightmare forces haven't moved in after the Incursions. Could make a good story: the Incursions were a distraction for the Nightmare to embed it's forces in other locations on the border of the Dream.

I would like to clarify that I wasn't necessarily talking about those two locations in regards to CoT/Timewalking. I meant that Andorhal was just the beginning of future raids/dungeons exploring events in Classic's past. I already know that Shadowhold and Starfall Barrow Den aren't Timewalking Dungeons (Though I wouldn't say they're not, but I highly doubt that they are), but they are similar to Demon Fall Canyon, current locations that dont' have much content so they get expanded upon. Though if I did mention that those two locations were CoT dungeons, I'll admit I'm wrong, but I don't think I said that. Nonetheless, I'm super excited for SoDs future and Classic+.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but the item tooltip for the Hammer says "Truthbearer" which is the name of the datamined 2h sword for paladin that can convert to a 1h MH equivalent. Seems they might have just copied the tooltip without editing it, or the item was scrapped but left in the game files for people to speculate.

Dont think the issue is with Classic Devs. If anything they are mvps in my book. The problem is the non existent budget, and just the few devs who are working on 2 full games. They clearly have good ideas, and SoD has a good foundation, but there is only so much you can do on a McDonald cheeseburger budget.

Not so sure about the caverns of time… one of the cool things about vanilla is that every place really feels like a place. You had to go out there, it’s a location in the world. Caverns of time was one of the first “remote” portal room style locations, and retail having for example 4 timeline versions of tirisfal glades and blasted lands… that kind of stuff makes the places feel less like places, and more like an ephemeral layered gameplay lobby. Barrow Den/Shadowhold are easy layups and seem great though. Transforming legendary is a great idea.

I doubt its going to be p5 it might be around p7 when Naxx should hit that way the 2 can co-inside and then p8 and on is all new content using more of CoT and if they add the Scarlet Crusade Raid it would be around this time of p8.
