As a multiple MINI driver and lover I say NO to this design. Too far off of what I like. And also, no real buttons and only touchscreen? An even bigger NO! It’s also unsafe. I already hate the touchscreen controls on my current F60. I try to use it as less as possible. And now trying to force me on only using the touchscreen? AGAIN…..NO!

There seem to be a lot of fabric surfaces in a supposed $60k vehicle, and not adding a driver display/gauge cluster doesn’t make it safer. It is all about saving money on their end.

It is a pitty that there won't be a hybrid version. I really like it. But as an electric a mediocre range and with all the issues with our infrastructure I don't want an electric yet and once you go hybrid you don't want to go back on the petrol version. Thinking about the X1 as an alternative.

@@MINI I think you guys absolutely nailed the interior. I honestly wouldn't change a single thing about the inside, except maybe adding some more buttons/switches for the AC and other things As for the exterior, it's a little too modern and streamlined. It seems to have taken a lot of inspiration from other cars, which can be okay, but it lost most of the "Mini" charm. The headlights look more angular, the car looks more "box-like," the standard fan-blade rims are out of character, the door handles no longer have that classy charm, and color options are dull and limited for the countryman this year I absolutely love the direction that Mini has gone this year. I think it's totally the right direction, but you guys kinda missed the mark with the exterior. It might bring in a new audience of Mini fans, but it's driving away the original Mini owners. We want something that's unique, colorful, and stylish. That's exactly what the new interior is like. But the exterior doesn't have that charm, and it looks like every other modern SUV now

Ruined it except the reasonable size now. Touchscreen ans no buttons is dangerous and daft to have so much on one screen thsts round. No front screen just pissy cheap small head up display. No chrome makes this bland. All about minimalist, no, all about cost saving. Youve lost nearly all cutrent MINI owners with this bad design. Thr marketing team suck with these annoying campaigns hiding thr car as they know its a fail. People will buy but not as many as you wanted BMW.

Hope that new, smaller, all electric crossover gets produced. Mini going for Big is just so incredibly weird. Also, adults don’t really need cartoon characters to interact with.
