Guys watch out you don't turn into too much of a corporation yourself on KZbin. 2 ads, patreon promo and gated content, etc. makes it more difficult to digest and actually watch your content. That being said, love what you have been doing so far, just be careful not to lose your roots.

Omega Seamaster and Swatch colab Coloured ceramic variants with rotating bezel. 200m water resistance Release pre Summer 2023/4. It’ll become the sought after watch for summer / wear in the beach / pool etc. 2/ Do a limited run BondSwatch 3/In 2025 release DarkSideOfTheMoonSwatch Full black ceramic…gold hand would be great contrast

Omega has kind of quietly rode along, but maybe this is part of the issue…people are saying these Moonswatch releases are “Omega releases”. They are not. Sure, a lot of marketing to promote a seconds-hand. Sure, we don’t get similar promotion from Rolex - when all they have done for 40+ years has released new dial colors and bezels…let’s not hold a supplier of $275 plastic watches to higher standards as a supplier of mid-range horology.

Mike, dont worry about commas man. I come from a language culture with a lot of commas. When I came to America, in universities they taught me that basically in America we don't use commas. Now when I need to communicate in other languages and I go without commas, people freak out. So I double down on them and put the full-stop/period inside the quotation marks and insist on putting the month before the date. Have them put up with it, like we put up with Swiss watch price hikes.

What they should have done was release it unannounced. Imagine how cool that could have been: You go in to buy a "Mission to the Moon" thinking you're getting just that. But little do you know, you actually picked up a sneaky, rare alternative that only the real fans will recognize and appreciate. And it would have taken a while for the world to realize what was going on. The internet would have a swirl of speculation and rumor until it finally realized what happened. It would have been a sleeper release. THAT would have been amazing! Instead they overplayed the hype, under delivered, and basically insulted everyone's intelligence.

We had forced scripture lessons (age 7-12) every day. Was only when I got older that I realised it wasn’t even a religious school - she had her favourites too. One day a kid spat at another. How can it be a money grab when it was only released for one day in four cities. It’s a social media hype grab, and they can do it every month. Guys, the watch isn’t for us KZbin geek, it’s for the TikTok generation and do you really think they read Hodinkee ? They’ve put a million watches on the wrist of a generation most of whom never wore a watch before, and when they grow up which brand do think they have loyalty too ? Others who can’t afford an Omega may wwell buy an Oris or Longines In the UK drinking age is 18. Every college has a student union bar and every brewery fights to get their beer on the bar. The theory goes that if they can get you drinking their beer during your formative 3 or 4 years at university then you’ll drink that beer for the rest of your life. The breweries discount their beer to almost cost price. Many people credit Swatch with saving the Swiss watch industry in the 1980’s. With the huge growth of smartphones and smartwatchs who’s to say that at some point in the future people may think they just did it again. Oh, and Zlatan left LA in January 2020 moving to A.C. Milan. Great story though 😂

I see it differently. It's just unfulfilled expectations. When you expect GOLD, GOLD, GOLD (which "moonshine gold" kind of made you believe), this product is a failure. But when you see it as a VARIATION about mission to the moon (which "mission to the moonshine gold" kind of suggests), damn, I think we're all fine. It's a beautiful variation on the "original". I even think it's better. As a "completely new moonswatch model" it's a failure. But as a variation? I love it! Watch world more than any other is about the details. And the details on this one are just better

@@FUNZO1975 ok so i have the mission on moon which looks the most similar to the original sm and let me tell you looks wise it looks like a much expensive sm however as soon as you take it in your hands and put on your wrist you will immediately realise its not a sm by even 1% because it was never meant to be its a swatch which says omega on it Its a cheap 1 dollar quartz movement afterall Now i will tell you my reasoning if you can get it for a reasonable amount its a good deal i got it for a little bit 100 usd over retail as i live in india and it was a great deal considering these are being sold 5x retail especialy the moon version For me swatch and omega are both iconic swiss industry wouldnt be alive today if not for swatch and omega doesnt need any introduction either especialy the sm which has such a big horological imp so it was a great addition to my collection but that is what i see it as i wouldnt wear this watch daily or when i know i can damage this which is a childs play Because again this is not meant to be a sm so overall my conclusion is this is a great collectors watch and avg at best for the quality because it was never meant to be replacement for sm its a token to acquire new customers which is great do i think the quality and modis operanda could be better yes but then again for 350 usd cant really complain much
