THE NEW NOCK ON EMBARK BOW: First Look at the Best Budget friendly bow On the market by PSE Archery.

Introducing the all new EMBARK(tm) budget friendly bow by PSE in collaboration with John Dudley & Nock On Archery. The Embark is a compact and super mobile- 31 inch axle to axle bow - with a forgiving 7” Brace height. When it comes to performance the Embark certainly doesn’t disappoint with an IBO speed rating of 327 FPS!
The embark is powered with an all new ZF cam system that’s the perfect combination of PSEs most popular EC and EM cams that offer amazing feel and eye opening performance. The new ZF cam has a broad range of draw length adjustment going from 23.5-30.5” with an easy adjustment of the module. The cam is engineered to have comfort at the shorter draw lengths and high end performance at the longer lengths, all while optimizing the 80% let off. Unlike hybrid cam systems on the market, The ZF is a split cable cam system that allows for the top and bottom cams to mirror each other just like it’s high end brother the EVS Evolve Cam System.
One of the keys to the ZF cam is the patent pending PBTS, or Precision Buss Tuning System. This allows a standard split buss cable to be used on a dual cable cam system yet still be completely yoke tunable. The PBTS also lets you attach a limb driven rest cable through the hole giving the user a direct drive cable connection.
The Embarks- Limb and Pocket system is are angled to 40 degrees for allowing the limbs to lay more parallel for a shock free shot. The pocket have a secure rear limb lockdown for a consistent limb to pocket connection without play.
The limb bolt is anchored into a barrel which allows for the limb bolt and limb to pivot through the vast poundage range of the limb. On other bows in its category, manufacturers cut cost and corners by threading the bolt directly into the handle which dramatically increases bolt torque and poor limb angles when changing poundage. However the Embark bolt barrel pivots smoothly and allows for a big draw weight adjust with the same limb. A 70# limb will reduce all the way down to 50lbs letting the user continue to grow into draw weight as they advance.
The riser is completely machined aluminum with large truss like cutouts which allows for a lightweight, rock solid foundation and jaw dropping repeatability on the target. As an added bonus the Embark has a widened riser shelf for a fall away arrow rest launcher and features the DT or dual tapped riser that gives a rock solid lockdown of the arrow rest with multiple Berger holes.
This model also has the same comfort grip as on high end PSE bows that has a great feel with super low torque while still giving you the option to easily remove the grip and shoot directly off the riser just like top level target archers.
