Nurgle got a lot of shock power here. Rot Knights, Plague Ogres, Bile Trolls, Toad Dragons, etc. And the Toad Dragon just chilling out sunbathing is amusing to see.

I too was also hoping for Rot Fly Knights Would've been cool for them to clash with Doom Knights Plus: We don't have enough scythe units. Cool flying high mass anti-infantry armor piercing beatstick. hell, even a potential answer to the Thunderbarge.

Until nerfs hit there will likely be no real answear to thunderbarges. I hope they just increase the price and damage from speedbuff and either give it a cooldown instead of a toggle or decrease the speedbuff%.

That Nurgle monster cavalery look rly cool, and Toad Dragon looks like he has nice animations, what is more important than stats most of the time in that unit type. Great units we can see here

Honestly nurgle got probably the best trolls in the game: they are still trolls but they actually help the nurgle units around them with their aura. the vanilla nurgle units definitely need every boost they can get to their offense and i'd arguably keep one unit of bile trolls around for quite a while just to get the debuff aura.

In all seriousness, I am so hyped for these units. I only started playing a year ago but I have been a nurgle fanatic. More campaigns with Ku'gath than all other campaigns combined, and I've tried almost everything. I can finally play nurgle in multiplayer and my friends won't be leaving me in the dust. Also, love your channel, you have been the best guide I have found for this very expansive game.

The GUO probably are better in a straight 1v1 duel. The toad dragon seems to be more for mowing through infantry hordes.

Personally I like having Melee lords of chaos, I think they look Badass :) They can hold tier own and then a spell slinger hero as support.

Yeah, in my WoC campaigns I always have at least 2 units of armored trolls in all my armies no matter what LL I choose, and I don't substitute them until very late.

Pretty sure it works like Tzeentch's melee lord they can ascend, and become casters for Lore of Nurgle too but have a trait for being a melee lord

I genuinely do not get why they seem so hesitant to make Nurgle worshippers into the bloated fat boys they absolutely ought to be. It's such an integral part to their aesthetic to me that I find this kind of frustrating. Ah well, what's here is great anyway - hopefully a mod will eventually remedy this lamentable lack of cultivated mass.

There is a mod called nurgle rotting reskin I believe but idk if it does this. As for why they're not bloated it's mostly because it would take more time than just doing reskins let's be frank

I'm pretty clear about it, 90% of nurgle warriors who are the bloated type are from the end times, as well as the idea that they use scythes, in almost all of nurgle history at least from 7 backwards they were depicted with two-handed weapons and rusty armor

They didn't got for fat lords, heroes or pestigors because they would have needed to develop new model, yeah, it could be based on the old models, but adding new "bones" and stuff is more work than just reskin

Kinda, but only in the same way that cavalry and shock cavalry overlap. Trolls had almost twice the melee defense of ogres with about half the charge bonus.

I do not play Nurgle however I am glad the faction is getting a decent cavalry unit because I always thought the idea of a faction that is tanky and slow, monstrious as well as plenty of AOE is great on paper but chances are they will get outranged and out footed by more stupidly speedier factions. I know you are supposed to take heavy advantage of your plagues but not heavy advantage though I am glad the campaign mechanic works, I sort of wish Lizard moses was buffed because oh my god.

Love the new units, finally Nurgle will be exciting. I do think its funny how fast people have moved from blaming CA for everything to blaming GW for everything. Its kind of hilarious hoe onr good dlc has made all the complaints like Nuln Ironsides and no plague drone mortals are now all GW'a fault CA's hands are tied and is toally the good company in this.

Don't really understand why you don't rate trolls at the moment. Back in 2 they were pretty bad but now they are mostly decent. All the troll variants are fairly good and even the basic are OK at the tier you get them. Alright they aren't top teir at the late game but through the mid game they are very strong. Later they can make some cost effective armies

I wouldn't call them decent, he's using them vs sword and shield chaos warriors and they are trading pretty evenly. Sword and shields infantry is like the very worst infantry at fighting, also a mid tier sword and shield infantry.

Pestigor/Tzaangors being "marked bestigors" never made any sense. They don't fit any sign of "high ranking beastmen" that Bestigors have (best gear, most armoured, biggest horns) and they were clearly always meant to be gors with marks. Nothing ever indicated they would ever be better than Bestigors. With that being said, I wouldn't say no to getting actual Marked Bestigors.

I gotta say im bit disappointed as a nurgle fan and a nurgle player of Thamurkhans campaign mechanics (extra step of alliance recruitment... with some half legendary heroes, nothing new units). The units themselves is not really to much against full scale armour blimp of destruction or literally landship (compare to the Nuln gun design units and Malakai design units as well).... as well both Elspathe and the Malakai more engaging campaign mechanic and progression system.

Rot knights is absolutely destroyed by skullcrushers. Because low armor. Regeneration dosnt help against good burst damage. I think rot knights overpriced and have really low armor

believe me in the multiplayer games I've been seeing they are not overpriced, they are like chaos knights of tzeentch really good for hit and runs as long as you don't lose models.

no they are not overpriced sure they lose head to head against skull crushers but you can heal them you can pull the out of combat much easily than skull crushers due to their speed and they still do a lot of ap damage

@@rubric-eo5yj every mp player talking about overpriced rot knights. You can also send them to fight against scaven slaves and they win. But mp is not about it. Rot knights are elite anti large cavalry which means they must fight against monsters, cavalry and you can charge them aganst infantry for sure. But role of this unit is anti large cavalry like bear cavalry of kislev. But for that price they showed in mp not very well. Because of low armor. CA make good work to trying show some different types anti large cavalry (regeneration) but that dont work in mp. They must cost cheaper and you will balance patch in future with lowering the price
