@@zaidtk7233mainly its because of permission issues. so basically the skinners need permissions from the artists for the artworks that they're using for their skin. if not, it will be disqualified. for clarification, the rule change is from the osu team, not skinship themselves

@@zaidtk7233 originally the rules said you didn't need credit for art but that was due to a miscommunication between the organisers and peppy. this meant that a rule change was had half way through so that skins needed to get credit, meaning a bunch of skins that were really good didnt have credit for the art they used so they are getting dqd.

Hello everyone I'm atturbo555, creator of Cherry Corolla skins. So thanks for reviewed. Some story behind : actually since I start this project it was intened to be non-weeb skin then I found some original character in pixiv. She is Mine-chan by Masayo (gin no ame) but a little problem come to artist permission is required to meet contest submission which I tried to contract artist in anyway that possible but unfortunately I don't get any respond from artist. *sadge But luckily I already made non-weeb ver as original plan and in case of artist permission problem. And I ask some skin gmt and which lead the mine-chan ver had separated. Another things originally I was use older osu! lazer interface sound (around early march 2021) / argon pro hitsound but I saw someone said like can't use sound resource from lazer which lead me to change my older collection of interface sound / hitsound. (which yea, I my personal mixed hitsound isn't great but ok-ish choice for me.) But lately I saw someone in chat said about sound file aren't get vetted from any submission rules. I just know too late. xd but nvm. Also I'm always playing on cuttingedge ver. of osu! even I don't have supporter all time which not big problem for me. And in my skin I like all mods icon would be skinned. Include target practice mod which not much people do it since only visable on cuttingedge ver. and only few people playing on cuttingedge for own personal reasons. Even some of my skins don't do mania skin but I still include mania mods icons.
