Aren't we gonna talk about Mei apparently being her "auntie"? Another thing I realized is that the woman in the picture alongside mei is probably Juno's mother which would make sense in multiple ways. First, since Juno's mom seems to been close friends or sisters, juno calling her auntie would make much more sense. Second reason is that Juno looks way to young to have been an adult at the time the photo was taken like 9+ years ago, she was at best a little child which again makes her relationship with Mei make sense more, plus the woman on the picture looks similar but NOT identical to Juno.

There's quite a chance she only met Mei when she was very young, so she probably wouldn't remember her. Also, yes, her mother is most likely the person in the photo.

Character traits I have gathered from this: She is friendly, respectful, paranoid, and innocent. She has a fear of spiders, and she doesn't like loud noises.

All of them make sense too. She will have grown up in a high tech but sterile and sealed up environment where no one could afford to waste resources. She has probably never seen insects or most animals outside of pics/holos and any breach in the habitat models was a potential hazard making her very safety conscious. We don’t know yet what brought her to Earth or the state of the Mars colony but all her quirks definitely fit.

We don’t know for certain yet but it’s probable that the Mars Colony was cut off from Earth somehow and so everyone there had to pull together and not waste a single resource so as to keep everything functioning. Burning fuel in any form is an inefficient process and Farah throws rockets around all the time too. Makes sense that Juno would find that approach rather wasteful.

Being completely honest, I did initially partially dismiss Juno as being yet another generically cutesy/sexy "marketable" hero, but her released interactions are great and bring a lot of personality. I feel we haven't really seen any "anxious naive outsider" heroes yet, and I think paired with the implied lore that she had to suddenly leave her colony home of 20 years in a pod makes her pretty compelling. It's interesting that Winston and Hammond also had isolated upbringings before coming to Earth, but have seemingly adapted much better (though they had years to adapt, and Juno seems like a much more recent arrival). Curious if we'll have some interactions there, and I also really hope she gets some interactions with Sigma.

Juno is exactly how I feel like aliens would react if they arrived on earth after they revived a package. Around 49 years ago NASA launched two Voyager spacecraft into deep space. Onboard both were gold discs with music, greetings and sounds from Earth - a message to aliens. But this alien also has like all these pop culture references like Westerns (with Ashe) or Winston we have a problem instead of Houston we have a problem.
